We were in the area visiting and decided to stop and have breakfast at this beautiful little restaurant. I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere is charming and food was delicious. I ordered eggs over-hard, toast and bacon. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The gentleman who seated us was very friendly and shared his recommendations for sites to see in the area. There is also a cute little gift shop located in the building.

Very homey southern food. My husband had the biscuit and ham, with the vegetable soup. I am vegan so they gave me a larger soup portion and toast. My husband had a nice apple pie slice I had fresh fruit salad. The manager is knowledgeable and proud of his establishment (which he has a right to be). Staff were friendly and efficient.

It definitely is a unique older place. The gift shop has many handmade items. The food was solid but not incredible. The dumplings had a good portions of chicken. Other folks like the bbq pulled pork. The biscuits where not your usual biscuits, but more flat. The Virginia shaved ham was salty and pleasant.

Perfectly poached eggs and fluffy pecan pan cakes. Plenty of food, delicious and great value. Excellent service. Quaint colonial atmosphere. Attached gift store. Sufficent parking. Better than your best Cracker Barrel.

The staff was very friendly and ambiance was very appropriate for the area. A very old time feel. The food was a bit underwhelming but enjoyable. The store are had loads of knickknacks and things to decorate with.

Super friendly staff. Food was great but I expected more. I reminds me of The Morgan House in Ohio, a mix of an old-school brunch cafe and a gift shop.

Where to start. What a cool step back into simpler days. The storefront was interesting, just looking, but the resteraunt was a great experience. The service was top-notch and personal. The food was simple and some of the best we had had while in Williamsburg. Sometimes less is so much more. We will be back and tell others to go there.

Owner and the lady working at the checkout counter are very nice. Called and placed order to pickup, arrived and owner knew that I was a Smith when I walked in the door. Owner told me about some tasty gifts (food) he gave to my mom and dad and what happened to the food. Took our food back to the hotel and it was very good. The food was placed in a box and the food was secured well, so nothing would spill. Highly recommend!
