Walked in for lunch and was greeted by an empty and cluttered entrance, no host/hostess. After standing there for a bit I saw a tiny little sign amongst the clutter that said “we don’t have a hostess, please seat yourself”. Ok, we will go sit at the bar because there’s obviously a skeleton staff. We sit down and the bartender was busy but she greeted us and took orders. She definitely did her best and this review is no shade on her.
I like to wash my hands before I eat so I went into the bathroom and what do ya know? No soap. They’re about an hour into opening and there’s no soap? There was an employee in there going to the bathroom, he had to walk out and ask someone where the soap is and this lady tells him it is in the shed. Took the dude about 5 minutes to come back with soap and, when he opened the unit, there wasn’t even an empty soap bottle in the dispenser, there was nothing. Someone opened it up and took that soap out then decided not to walk to wherever this shed is to replace it.
I think the woman he asked was a manager because she was in a tiny little office next to the bathroom, with the door open, and she was attending to an employee. It must’ve been the hostess getting fired or dismissed because they aren’t busy enough because this poor girl looked like she was holding back tears and walked out of the restaurant. This couldve been someone that could’ve filled soap and cleaned the restaurant.
This restaurant was filthy. Every elevated surface was covered in dust, including some weird tube sitting above all the drink glasses. The yard beer disoensers or whatever they are called looked sticky and nasty with fingerprints all over them. Not ordering kne of those! There was clutter all over the back bar area. Tools that looked like they’ve been collecting grime and dust forever, and sinks that could use some CLR and TLC.
I watched the bartender scoop foam out of beer as she kept trying to fill them which tells me wither the lines are dirty and havent been taken care of or he beer isn’t cold enough. I’m guessing both.
Pizza was ok, individual tavern style meat me, though I wouldve liked it if the dough was cooked through and not partially raw. We got the brownie for dessert and it was literally half chocolate syrup. If I wanted to eat a mouthful if chocolate syrup I’d go to the grocery store and buy a bottle to squirt in my mouth. I’d say I would do that next time to save some money but there is no way I want to eat or drink anything here again.
Either the employees are lazy and the manager isn’t enforcing policies, the manager is lazy, or this restaurant doesn’t get enough hours to train. One thing is for sure, this Old Chicago is devoid of any leadership and obviously has an owner that is not present.

Pizza was not the best. They may have been short staffed.. it took over an hour to get our pizza. The bartender was nice and tried to make up for it.. we came in super hungry and filled up on pizza rolls and drinks.. wasn’t the best experience but still like the Old Chicago chain..

This Old Chicago needs help. The staff is nonexistent. Sat at the bar and it took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and another 10 to get a beer even though there was only 8 to 10 other customers. There was only the bartender serving everyone. Other staff was around, but didn’t seem interested in helping. After getting our drinks, we wanted food but was not offered a menu or help for quite some time. Food was decent, but took awhile to get out. I understand the need to save money on less staff these days, but when it greatly effects the service, is it worth it? This is the 3rd time in the past couple of months I have received poor to bad service. Probably won’t be back unless I hear service is better.

Thanks for the caramel sauce and fudge not. Really disappointed in the lack of literally everything for my order. Sad day, and even sadder the donuts aren’t even good. Wish I could’ve had them with some caramel sauce or fudge. That would’ve been better.

What a great place to go and relax. We went in for one beer and ended up staying for dinner. Our server Brandon was so kind and helpful and made us so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. He had great beer suggestions for our picky taste buds and never made us feel uncomfortable!!! We will be back!

Had a great experience here tonight. It was our first time eating here. Staff was phenomenal. Attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a little hiccup with the order, getting the wrong bread on the sandwich we had ordered. The manager was right out to our table telling us that he would get it taken care of. He offered drinks or salads while we waited. The sandwich came out pretty quickly and they brought us fresh fries as well.
That service was spectacular but as an even nicer gesture he also removed my meal from the ticket. They couldn’t have been nicer about the whole situation. All of their kindness was without us complaining one bit.
The food was spectacular. The pizza was delicious and fresh. The sandwich was hot and stacked high with meat.
Ambiance was great. Can’t say enough good about this place.

The staff is very observant. I was asked by 4 different employees if I had been helped. Top notch service. HOWEVER! The food was atrocious. I knew something was up when I was told it would be 7 minutes for my meal to be ready. Take a look at the picture. Take your best guess at what I ordered . I just moved to the area and wanted to give old Chicago a try. It turned out to be one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. The sun dried tomatoes were so burnt it tasted like what I would expect the things that fall to the bottom of the grill would taste like. Charcoal and dusty. Cheese was missing on over half of the slices.
I called to give them the chance to refund my order before leaving an honest review and picture. They put me on hold to talk to a manger but I hung up after waiting for 10 minutes.
I ate one slice and had to throw the rest away as it was not edible and just went to bed hungry. Woke up the next morning with bathroom problems.
Overall this was a bad experience because of poor quality pizza, customer service and way overpriced for $45 for a large pizza and bites. I will not be returning.

Everything about this place was on point! From the time you walk in the door, the greeter was friendly and welcoming. The services second to none. When I let my server know about my allergy. He went out of his way to make sure he’d given me accurate information. His recommendations were perfect. The food was fabulous . Everything about my meal was great! I definitely recommend this place and I will be back. What a wonderful welcome to Brighton and Colorado.
