Stopped in for some beers and pizza, our waitress Ashly was truly the best! So thankful for her knowledge and attentiveness to our needs! The appetizers and pizza were beyond good! Most definitely recommend the rolls!

Absolutely disappointed!! Will not frequent this location!! Came in to order a beer, appetizer and two pizzas to do. Mid afternoon, two or three tables occupied in the main dining room and bar seating about half full. Ordered Italian Nachos, lemonade for kid and a small beet sampler to see what I wanted. Nachos came out about 25 minutes later, lemonade followed and still no beer sample (evidently the bar was still working on it, yet two people behind the bar were not busy). Finally got a sample and server finally stopped long enough to take to go order. Beer came out 10 minutes later and pizza followed as not to go. Had them go package them to go as originally requested. Brought to servers attention that nachos were super greasy and the marinara tastes like tomato paste. She says it’s just basic pizza sauce and that’s all they have. Eventually got the check and that took another 20 – 25 minutes. There was no hustling, just lolly gagging along. On the way out I professionally expressed my displeasure with a to go order experience taking over an hour and a half. She apologized and said she had no excuse but acknowledged the kitchen was definitely slow. This wasn’t a kitchen issue (although the Italian Nachos were terrible).

This is by no means the fault of the servers or cooks that work here. But it has become apparent to me that Franchisees and chain restaurants are all about profits with disregard to the quality of their goods or services. The food was stale, flavorless, half the size it used to be a year ago (but costs twice as much) and nothing but processed garbage. Pepperoni rolls? Ha! It looked like bacon bits more than pepperoni. What a freak’n joke!

Great food but that’s where the good stopped. Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. My son and I were just too tired to go somewhere else. When someone finally came over to seat us, they literally said “you can sit anywhere in the bar area.” After walking around the approximate 7 open tables, NOT 1 of them did not have dirty dishes on them. We sat at the one that was the cleanest. Someone came over and asked for our drinks and gave us a menu. She never addressed the dirty table and dishes. My son and I moved all of the dirty dishes and aske dour server if we could have the table wiped down. She pointed to a dirty rag on a spray bottle and said “yea, sure!” It was so bad that all we could do is laugh about it.

We went in kind of late. Half of the restaurant was closed and they were down a server but this guy still managed to take good care of us. We got the pepperoni starters, a beer burger and chicken tender sandwich. All the food was cooked very well and tasted excellent. We don’t drink but other patrons seemed satisfied with their selection.

The food was great but the service didn’t seem to be talking to each other because when we walked in we were told 30 minutes for a table, and then somebody else came up and asked how many we had and they told us 5 minutes. Once we got seated, we probably sat for 20 minutes before somebody came to see us because they didn’t know anybody was in their section. Service was kind of slow, but the food was great. Highly recommend their chocolate chip cookie and ice cream dessert.

Their karaoke and trivia nights sound like a blast, and their service is alright. Love the environment, plus splitting the entrees they offer amongst a large group is a perfect way to dine. I recommend the basic cheeseburger; their little pizzas aren’t too bad when they have the right toppings combined, but their chicken carbonara left us less than impressed. The strawberry lemonades are not worth the extreme level of acidity to me either, so just be beware of that before you order!

Went in for dining. Table was filthy but still sat down ordered drinks and a large Pizza. Took forever for the pizza to come out and when it did come out it was burnt. Waitress delivered the pizza didn’t have plates had to wait for plate. The waitress brought us plates and the plates were filthy. Definitely think twice before eating there. Decided to give them another chance. Girlfriend ordered a person with hand pepperoni. There was only cheese in the center of the pizza and a good inch and a half crust. I ordered the Italian nachos the plate size has gotten smaller. They stuck this big bowl in the middle for the sauce and all my chips were Crumbs from the bottom of the barrel. It was pitiful. I used to order Italian nachos get full and take home a quarter of it. I ate the order tonight and didn’t get rid of The Hunger feeling. It’s less than just an appetizer. Old Chicago’s in my feelings is going downhill. I don’t understand how you can downsize an order over half and still charge 1299 for it. I am done with Old Chicago
