This place was an absolute train wreck and easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.
The food ranged from mediocre to forgettable. The medium pepperoni pizza was barely passable. The personal chicken bacon ranch was okay. The chicken parmesan was a complete letdown. Pizza roll-ups were fine, mozzarella sticks were decent, but the marinara sauce was thin, watery, and bland—like it had been diluted to save money.
Now the service—unbelievably bad. The entire restaurant appeared to be run by teenagers. I didn’t see a single employee who looked over 22, and it showed. After we finished eating, we were ignored for over 20 minutes while our server repeatedly walked past our table to help others. I finally went to the host stand, where a group of teenagers were sitting around on their phones, chatting and gossiping. I stood less than a foot away before they even acknowledged me.
When I asked how I could pay my check, they gave me attitude and acted inconvenienced. I explained that our server was doing everything except serving us and asked how I was supposed to pay. Their response? “We do payments at the table.” No urgency. No apology. Just attitude. I had to tell them to send someone to my table so I could pay and leave.
Even after that, it took another 15 minutes for the server to come take my card, another 5–10 minutes to actually run it, and then another 10 minutes after asking for a to-go box—during which she came back to “check on us” and somehow forgot the box entirely. She literally had to see us still sitting there before realizing she hadn’t brought it.
To top it all off, my tea glass had crusty residue on the rim when we were first seated. That’s basic sanitation, and they failed it.
This wasn’t just bad service—it was careless, disrespectful, and completely unmanaged. Between the dirty glassware, inattentive staff, endless waiting just to pay, and a front-of-house more interested in phones than customers, this place left a horrible impression. I walked out irritated and honestly questioning how this restaurant is still operating.

Just came in for some beers. Moni was a pleasure behind the bar – personable, knowledgeable, and totally attentive. The beer was good, and would definitely come in to watch a game and hang for a while. Highly recommend!

Went here on 07/11. It was close to mid afternoon and was not busy. I was seated right away. I had the pretzel and cheese with a medium classic style pizza. The waitress Katie was very pleasant and checked on me several times. Great service everytime I go in.

Wentbin on tues I believe ordered the Mediterranean pizza to go and had a couple drinks while I waited. The staff was super friendly and cool to talk with the tvs was on sports (good for me ) but let’s talk about the beer selection! Omg the choices! Super impressive also the bartender she new damn near all and their flavor profile and was right lol. Had a good time definitely stop by if ya can.

We were seated by the hostess and she told us our waiter would be with us in a few minutes. 20 minutes goes by and no waiter came. It wasn’t busy either, we were one of the only tables besides the few people sitting at the bar. Multiple workers passed us by and the owner was standing at the entrance. We ended up just leaving.

We’ve been to this Old Chicago many times. On this visit our table was sticky and even after they came to clean it again, it was still gummy.
Tonight we made the mistake of ordering food other than pizza. I had the andouille shrimp pasta & my friend had chicken Alfredo. The andouille was very low quality – think Oscar Mayer, and the noodles were dry. The other dish had tiny nibs of flavorless chicken. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding anything on the menu except pizza; the ingredients were very cheap.
Our server Kenzie was AMAZING, very nice & attentive. She was the only redeeming quality of the dining experience. IF we ever come back it will only be for pizza & beer.

Disappointing to say the least! We waited over 10 minutes for our first drink. The restaurant was not busy at all. We ordered prior to the end of happy hour but watched the waitress put the order in after 6pm. Easy enough to get over. I ordered the Thai Pie pizza. It came out with 3 little pieces of broccoli, no mushrooms, no red peppers and no onions. The waitress said yeah we’re out of those. They are out of sprite, out of bone in wings, no boneless wings, no chicken tenders, no fried pickles, no spinach dip, no Canadian bacon, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and who knows what else. Just shut the place down already. I feel bad for the servers….

Walking into Old Chicago was terrible. No greeting and no question on how many will be in the party. The two individuals named Aiden and Christa were rude. Our waitress Kenzie was great she was the only reason why the rating was not one star. Show some love to Kenzie when have her as a waitress.

I have been to this old Chicago three times now. Even on their busiest day my family and I are treated nicely. The food is very good. This last time I went, my fiancé ordered the beer burger (his favorite). I ordered the Tuscan chicken with spinach pizza. We had bruschetta as a starter. In the past, I have had ma’s lasagna for dinner and the Sicilian pepperoni rolls as an appetizer, both also very good.

I totally forgot our waiter’s name but he was really nice to us. He made sure our drinks were full and our food was to our liking with a smile! The hot tea options were a little crazy. I thought we we just gonna get the standard tea. Nah, the waiter got us a little bowl with a variety to choose from! My mom had a hard time picking out a flavor but she appreciated the choices.
I didn’t get to snap a picture of my mom or her hubby’s food though. But each entree was hot and delicious! We got the spaghetti & meatballs, fish & chips, and a burger.
I try to stop in when I come to Garden. Every time we’ve gotten good service and awesome food.
