Great small hometown restaurant. The service is always friendly and there’s plenty of food and drinks options. There’s also a bar area that seems to be very popular. There’s also some outdoor seating, although the view of the parking lot isn’t very desirable. I really enjoyed my fish & chips, mozzarella sticks, and my husband enjoyed his burger. My mother-in-law always recommends the lasagna. The staff was so kind to give our daughter a full coloring book and crayons while we waited for our food.

My father-in-law called and said he wanted to take me out for my birthday (Jan 21) and recommended Canal Grille. So my wife and I met him there and we all had dinner. I was very impressed with everything. The food and service were both 5 stars. Would definitely go back again. I had the Bison lasagna. First time in my life I had Bison lasagna. It was really good.

Great food! Great portions! Great prices! Great service! 9 people go to dinner and all 9 completely satisfied and raving about their food. Lemon chicken was the most popular. French Onion soup also great. I had the Chicken Parm and it was huge. The most popular item was the White French Dressing! That’s what everyone loves. I say mix White French and Blue Cheese. Wonderful restaurant.

We made a reservation beforehand in order to make sure that the staff would be aware of party of 10 coming in. We arrived at 6 (the time of our reservation) and were promptly seated. We waited for someone to take our drink order which was quick however we waited around 20 minutes for our drinks. Our food on the otherhand was a different story. We waited for our waitress to take our order and waited almost an hour for them to bring our food out. By the time it had arrived my brussel sprouts were cold, my chicken was cold, and all the other food was hardly even warm. The other people with me all were dissatisfied with their orders. We were offered a meal comp and a dessert for free however this did not make up for the dissatisfaction that we faced. Their main excuse for all of this was “We had a lot of to go orders.” – Their manager.

First of all I don’t like to leave bad reviews. I usually only review things I firmly believe are good. I was a server at a couple of restaurants so I tend to give a lot of leeway when it comes to resturants. We have been coming here almost every week for a couple of months. Loved that things were fresh made and not just from a warehouse. But tonight my boyfriend almost swallowed a long thin chicken bone from the italian wedding soup. When brought to the attention of our server she was very apologetic. This is where I got livid. She said she told the manager, which I expect her to do. However the manager never checked on him to see if he got injured. We ate the rest of our meal wondering if they would come with the check. I had to ask to speak to the manager for her to consider coming to our table. The summary the manager gave is that basically they make everything fresh and usually check for things like that. But because they make everything from whole chickens things like this can happen. Someone must have not checked today. What upsets me, and maybe it’s because I worked at a chain, is that it felt shrugged off and non- apologetic. She offered to get us new soup, but that they make it fresh so it is just a possibility. Almost felt like who cares that he might have swallowed it and maybe have to go to a hospital. I do understand things like this can happen. I once ate at steak and shake and got plastic that cut my gums. Unlike here though, the manager was apologetic. i felt brushed off and that it was insignificant that things like this happens. At this point even though there food was good(lemon chicken, fish sandwich Ruben) I will not be going again.

Food was very good. The menu is absolutely gigantic – they have everything. Drinks were made well. The service…. Left a bit to be desired. There were only two servers, however, so I can’t be too harsh there. Unsure if that’s the norm. If it is, expect to wait for everything. If this was a one off, I’m sure the service would be great normally.

Not one to leave bad reviews and I even checked reviews prior to dining here. We had reservations at 6pm on December 23rd for a party of 10. This was my first and last experience here. Upon arrival, there were about 6/7 other people in the lobby waiting to be seated. I was arriving separately from some of my group so I was peeking around the corner to see if anyone else has been seated. No need to take a hostesses time if I can see my party right? A patron at the bar looked at me and told me to be patient because they were short staffed and it was going to be a while before I would be seated because there were just two girls working. I think he was a paid actor because he seemed pretty jolly. The place was at about 3/4 capacity I would say, with many people wrapping up. Our server was probably perfectly nice, but we could barely hear her and she was less than enthusiastic- could’ve been a bad day. Took a bit to come to the table then an additional 20 mins to get our drinks. Nothing was complicated since most got water and there was only one item from the bar. It’s okay, we are there to celebrate right, so we chill and then eventually our orders are taken . At one point, someone started a timer, the main food took 47 mins to come out. Well it’s okay because we got salads right. Salads consisted of iceberg lettuce and one cherry tomato. No carrots, no radish, no onion, no mushroom.. okay well maybe they ran out of the normal salad … and Alright well at least the main course will be like super hot right? Nope. Not a singular person in our group received hot food, or for that matter warm food. The waitress reached over people on many occasions instead of walking around the table to the other side which was hard on some members of the group who have limited arm mobility. So now we have the food, it’s cold. We were offered a microwave.. yes because I want the food microwaved that I ordered. She assured us she watched it come out of the oven. Maybe so, but it would have had to be 30 mins prior. She at some point offered to remake things but also, I’m not sure what she said because she was so quiet. She did eventually offer for the manager to come talk to us. After about 20 mins the waitress came back and said that the manager said she could comp one meal and offer a free dessert to the birthday person. At this point, the lack of consideration and caring had really seethed to my bone. I said I thought the manager was talking to us. The waitress said oh yeah I can send her over. Don’t particularly enjoy saying something is going to happen and then it doesn’t and having to ask. The manager comes. The manager offered to comp the meal and offered a free dessert and offered to call the owner because they weren’t able to make that decision. I will add that it was stated that the orders online were backing up the kitchen. Oddly, since we were in pretty clear view of the pick up area, we only saw like two orders go out. I will add that when food is cold, you can still tell if it is good. This was bad and cold. The chicken in my pasta was not only chewy and seemed overly processed, but it also had no flavor. I’ve had rice cakes with more flavor. The waitress basically stopped interacting with us after we mentioned dissatisfaction. She even stopped trying to give us to go containers and just kinds skedaddled away. In the end, I don’t even know if the owner was ever even called. It took so long for everything we were all just exhausted from the experience and ready to go. We all wanted to crash out. Would not recommend whatsoever. And because I do like to say nice things. I thought the bathrooms were pretty clean and I liked the painting on the wall, so there’s that. Oh and after, I saw the other members of our party pull off to go to McDonald’s where they had food that was warmer, cheaper, and had a deeper flavor profile.

Really good American food! There is a great little cocktail menu full of tasty drinks at reasonable price. The dishes are good and include steaks, chops, chicken, and seafood platter. You must order the French Onion soup as it is really delicious! Great sandwich menu as well with Reuben and seafood Reuben.. Service is great and the servers are exceptional…
