Great spot to meet up with family whether you’re boating, walking or driving. Great variety of food and drinks. Prices were quite reasonable as well. Wish I had a picture of the Poke Bowl I had. It was flavorful and hearty. I will be back. There was also a band and different levels to sit at.

Great location being on the water, lots of food and drink options. It’s always busy and can take a really long time to wait to be seated and wait for food.
Wait staff are very accommodating and nice, excellent service. Apps are easy and quick, good options if you just want light food. Rest of the menu is just ok, pricey for what you get – a fish sandwich with fries was $20… also $8 for a seltzer seems ridiculous. Mixed drinks aren’t too bad, decent wine options.
When there is music it’s almost impossible to hear so if you want to eat and talk I wouldn’t sit outside during live music.
If there is a wait, it may be worth finding other options.

It was about a 30 minute wait to sit. Great atmosphere. Servers pay good attention. It’s one of those places you really get to hang out and relax. You can really spend time together. Food tasted great. A fun time overall. Parking lot was very full, they did have at least one handicap spot. Chairs and tables are very close together though not good spacing for accessibility. Not sure it’s wheelchair friendly. There is a ramp to the patio though from the inside if you can get through the chairs. Very very loud.

A favorite. Great food & drinks. Service excellent. Padded chairs would be a comfort on game days. Can be too loud for conversation.

This place is always packed! The atmosphere was very fun and upbeat. The service was great. The pretzel appetizer was really good but the mac and cheese burger was very disappointing. The presentation was nice but It did not have much flavor. The cucumber and onions were okay, but really heavy on the onion flavor compared to others I have had before.

Went to Okoboji and stopped off at this restaurant. I had pulled pork with their house fries. Son had fish and chips.
It’s a very nice environment. They have seating outside that looks over the lake they have seating that’s under an awning but still fairly open and then sitting inside the restaurant. The staff are very nice. We spoke with the manager of the restaurant I think his name was Dave. They have a lot of returning servers and Cooks. They are seasonal they’ll shut down in the winter probably like a lot of Okoboji. But their staff comes back because they like the place.
Pulled pork was very good I was happy with it the coleslaw I’m glad I picked that because that was a nice addition combo to the pulled pork. Unfortunately it’s been a while between having this and posting it so I can’t remember everything about it I just remember it was really good. And my son liked his fish and chips.

If you’re looking for the quintessential Okoboji restaurants/bars, the Okoboji Store Bar & Kitchen would most certainly be on that list. Since I grew up in Okoboji, I have seen this location evolve and I truly think it has hit its stride. This place has so many deck areas and levels to soak in some sunshine and watch the boats pass under the grade. If you’re on a boat, you can even dock it here and take a break for a bite to eat or a cold drink. They have a chill area off to the side where kids can play and take in one of the live music performances on the outdoor stage, but if the weather isn’t cooperating, there’s also seating indoors.
All of the food we had was pretty delicious. Let’s start with dessert first because who doesn’t love to do that. The one on the right was recommended to us by our server is their “New-fangled Scotcheroo“ which is basically a tower of peanut butter rice crispy cakes, with layers of chocolate ganache, drowning in a butterscotch caramel sauce. That thing was a little difficult to take bites of, and we finally had resort to a knife and a fork, but it was deliciously rich. Probably more my speed was the blueberry lemonade sundae in the background.
I opted for the fried bluegill fish tacos and really enjoyed them. That fish is obviously very delicate and I appreciated that they weren’t overly breaded. The sauce was great and the slaw was crisp. My dad‘s burger & fries looked pretty on point, but he wasn’t down to share. The girls ordered deconstructed nachos and decided that it was more glorified chips and queso, but the meat in the cheese sauce was really good.
Finally, the drinks I have had there are pretty much what you would expect. This bloody Mary was a little spendy, but really tasty. They also have a beer called the “Miss Thriller“ available only here that was brewed by WestO and it is very good. I’m thankful their drinks are far better than just domestic beers and well cocktails.
Lastly, I do want to commend the staff. They were slammed on Memorial Day when we were there and our server was awesome. He was friendly, gave great recommendations, and checked in periodically. While we were there, we noticed that they had adequate staff, but it was clear that the kitchen was getting behind. The manager came by and made it right by us, so we were appreciative. However, if you’re wanting super quick service during the busy meal times, grab a drink and just relax.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. During extremely busy holiday weekends at peak hours, expect to wait about an hour for your food. The parking lot is tight and a challenge to navigate. Bring a smaller car, not a big pick up or large suv. They frequently have live music and/or sports playing loudly on tv’s, not for those who want a quiet dining experience. Kid friendly.

Love this place. Everything from the staff, view, drinks, beer, and food menu you can’t go wrong! The Bloody Mary is worth it – I get an Exile Ruthie beer back to go with it. The fish tacos and the tuna bowl are legit – I get them every time!
