Let me start by saying the food was great. By the time I order it my plate, got my drink and founded a seat my order was coming at me. The meal was wholesome and very much prepared and seasoned. While also being grilled to perfection. Will surely be eating here again. PS don’t forget to try the best beans in the world as a side. You won’t go wrong!

Burnt ends are great, so are the ribs and the pulled pork with 2 different sauces that are both great. Sides: beans are really good with great flavors, potato salad is above par but the mac and cheese was missing flavor. Also had some of the best sausage links ive had in a while, both the regular and hot were great. The bad…brisket, very dry and not that tender, which was odd because the burnt ends were so go.

Just okay at best! I ordered the half rack of ribs, baked beans, and macaroni cheese. The baked beans were good, the macaroni and cheese was very bland, and to be honest, may be the worst ribs I ever had at a barbecue place. Head to slather them in barbecue sauce to get some flavor. They just didn’t have any flavor.

So my wife and with some good friends drove from Missouri to eat at Oklahoma Joe’s because they are good. I know this sounds eccentric, but I will say we can afford to drive it maybe 2 -3 times a year, but it is worth saving up for and worth the $$. Burnt ends are divine. The brisket is so very delectable. I like it leftover cold. Oh, let’s not forget their hotlinks are fantastic. Now, the question everyone wants to know is, how are the ribs; fat, meaty, juicy, and of course, messy? The last complement I will give is their onionrings they are the best I have found in 600 square miles of Joplin, MO.

We went went when they first opened. The temperature of the food was warm, not hot, so I think it comes pre-packaged. They left off a couple of sides. Thankfully, we were close by, so we went back and got the items. The food tasted really good, I had fries as a side, and it was enough for 4 people. The food tasted even better the next day.

Everyone that I know that has been to Oklahoma Joe’s has always said that it’s the best around. I’ve spent time in Texas and other areas that have great BBQ . Oklahoma Joe’s in my opinion is kinda basic when it comes to the actual BBQ. Their rendition of burnt ends is not actually anything like traditional burnt ends. The food is pretty good but not what I expected. Sides were delicious.

Great counter service, clean dining room, tidy bathroom— and pretty good food, too. This location is also convenient to major highways and the airport. It took us about 15 minutes to get food. I had the turkey salad, which had fresh spinach and lots of toppings, though more cheese would have been good. My son had a macaroni and cheese cup and fries, and especially loved the fries. My husband raved about those, too, and said the shredded pork, hot links, and fried okra were good, especially for fast food. This is only my second time eating at this chain and I’ve had positive experiences both times.

The worst service at this place. I usually ate at this restaurant every weekend with my family, but at the Broken Arrow location. I placed an order, and they sent it to Catoosa, and the service was absolutely horrible. I arrived to pick up my food, and they didn’t have any kind of fries, even though they had accepted the order. It took them 55 minutes to get it ready. I don’t recommend this place; it’s the worst. The service and the people who work there don’t know how to treat customers.

I attended a conference at HardRock Tulsa in early October of 2024. Me and my co workers decided to eat dinner here. Gosh, I wish we ate here the first few nights we were in Catoosa. This place was so delicious, the staff was amazing. Clean restaurant. If i ever come back to Catoosa. I will stop by again.

As I was passing through Oklahoma, I stopped into this location for lunch. When I first walked in, there was an elderly gentleman in front of me, and he was explaining to the young lady who was working the cash register that he just wanted a sandwich and she kept saying it comes with a drink. She continued to get rude with the elderly man, and then he turned around and looked at me and said well give her my drink. I think what happened is she rang him up for the meal instead of just a sandwich because when I ordered my lunch, I ordered the pork barbecue meal that came with a drink and fries. So the drink he paid for was never used.

My biggest issue with this is that the young lady taking orders was very rude to the elderly man. Not only was she rude to him she was also rude to me when I was asking questions about the desserts her tone was rather rude. Then I asked where the cups were and she got even worse.

It’s very sad to see people that have no customer service or people skills working a position like this. It’s really not that hard to show a little bit of kindness especially when your face is supposed to be the welcoming facd for this restaurant.

I will say on a positive note the gentleman who brought my food to the table was very nice and welcoming.
