I’ve only been to Japan about a dozen times to film and write about food content a minumum of 2 weeks each time. So, I can only vouch for my experience eating Japanese food to state that the tsukemen at Okiboru is just like what I have eaten in Japan, specifically the Kansai region.

Being that I prefer tsukemen over ramen, dipping sauce over soup, over the years, I have definitely eaten my fair share of this type of noodle.

The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning.

QR code menu and friendly service.
Bar style atmosphere at this location. So nice to have an authentic tsukemen shop at the mall. I like to stop by before seeing a movie.

I always come here when I am in the mall of georgia! None of their food disappoints and it is incredibly rich every time. The broths clearly have taken time to simmer and cook the ingredients are delightful and presentation beautiful. All the staff are friendly and the atmosphere and seating is comfy. One bowl is filling and perfectly portioned! Their fries are also one of the best and tastes freshly made and not like some frozen packages and the crunch is to die for. One of the best Ramen places here in georgia everyone needs to try this place it’s right behind the cheesecake factory which is.a bit difficult to locate if it’s your first time but the prices are way better and the place is more quiet! A true 10/10 with no cons that serves comfort in a bowl.

I’ve been to Okiboru multiple times and I always enjoy myself! The servers are friendly and gives great recommendations if you’re struggling to choose what to get, the restaurant is spacious and super clean, and the food & drinks are delicious! My favorite appetizers would have to be okiboru buns & garlic nori fries, and my go to ramen is the Tori Paitan (I recommend making it spicy if you like that extra kick). Also, don’t skip on their cocktails!

The bun tasted absolutely delicious. My child and I finished one in no time. I was initially worried that the pork might be a little greasy, but to my surprise, it wasn’t at all—it was perfect! The dipping broth was a bit on the salty side for me, but I really enjoyed its rich flavor. As someone who’s quite picky, I love noodles with a firm, chewy texture, and the noodles at this place really hit the mark. My child loved them too!

Seems to be a popular place. Very busy. My chicken curry tonkotsu dish needed more curry sauce asit was dry. The chicken Ramen soup and chicken bun appetizer was very good.

Came back to try the seasonal drinks and had the Autumn Rush drink and it was a strong and tasted yummy even though I don’t usually like bourbon. I also tried the Ton Katsu Don Curry and it was really good too! Both items I’d have again! Cute holiday decor too!

Hands down, the BEST ramen in the area. All their broth is creamy with rich, incredible flavor.
If you like spicy, the Tan Tan Ramen is very yummy. My husband got the Tonkotsu and it was SOOOO good. The pork was very tender.
The garlic nori fries are a great appetizer! The sauce is amazing!
