Oishi sushi is one of the best all you can eat sushi places in all of Illinois. The price is the best we have seen, the owner is so kind and welcoming, and the sushi is delicious. The fish is always fresh and tasty! Our favorite rolls are the Crunchy Shrimp, Tiger, and Summer. The GYOZA’s and Crab Rangoons are also amazing….some of the best we have ever had. Such an underrated sushi place that you definitely have to try.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy some food this is the place. It’s quaint and has beautiful decor. The staff is all very friendly. They are open to answer any questions you might have. The owner is exceptionally kind saying to drive safe as I leave. The service is very good. The food comes out relatively quick on the weekdays during lunch. I absolutely love the winter roll they offer. It has so many different flavors that all work so well together. They offer vegetable rolls for people who don’t want to eat any fish. Along with hibachi or fried rice if you want something other then their delicious sushi. Overall this place is amazing and prices are not over the top. I can’t wait to come back again and try more things on their menu!

If you want great food from great people who care about their patrons, you have to come to Oishi Sushi. This is my FAVORITE local sushi spot for this reason. The sushi is delicious, the appetizers are delicious, everything is delicious. The prices are fair and when I do the AYCE, I definitely feel like I get my money’s worth. I think what stands out the most, though, is how the staff and owner build a relationship with every person that comes in their door. They always recognize me and welcome me back and ask where my bestie is if I’m alone–we go here to eat and chat but I also swing by for lunch sometimes without her. And, it’s not just us, I watch them greet and catch up with their customers everytime I’m there. It’s why I’m a regular–well, that and the food! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Tasted very fresh and love that they don’t overuse rice like most AYCE places. This is my new favorite AYCE spot in the area.

The All You Can Eat menu for $27.99 is a great deal! But I was not satisfied with the fish to rice ratio – too much rice ☹️. I wish the menu provided pictures of each roll instead of just the descriptions… didn’t know what to expect! I think the nigiri was fresh but the rolls were very basic and minimal compared to other all you can eat places. It can get busy on weekends and Friday nights.

An amazing experience. Attentive, energetic, and kind employees that made the meal. Highly recommend a visit just off the service alone. Food was exceptional as well!

Nice and quiet place. I don’t like overly loud places so this was excellent. The food was really good too. All the appetizers were delicious and of course the rolls were amazing too. We were able to sit and chat for quite a while. None of us had eaten at all that day because of a busy schedule so we did order A LOT. Would definitely go back and next time save room for dessert

Terrible service. We came in specifically for the all-you-can-eat option. The server was fine at the beginning, but after ordering a few items, she suddenly told us we had only five minutes left to place a final order, even though there was still an hour left before the posted closing time (as listed online).
We ordered one more roll, and when it arrived, it was missing the sauce clearly listed on the menu. When we pointed it out, she said it was already wrapped and couldn’t be fixed.
If the restaurant doesn’t want to serve customers properly until the posted closing time, then the hours shouldn’t be advertised that way. Very disappointing experience. Do better.

Fresh suishi and good service. We went there on Friday night. This place was busy on Friday. The service is good. We have all-u-can eat option and it is good prices. I recommend the try this place if you haven’t yet.

The place was pretty empty upon walking in around 7:45-8 pm on a Wed night. Service was great. We did the ayce menu for $26.99. Was it worth $26.99? It was pretty unexceptional. I love sushi and I eat sushi from grocery stores all the way to Michelin level.
– Miso soup – 5/5 hard to mess up
– Japanese fried chicken – 2/5 it was okay. Didn’t really taste like Japanese fried chicken that I had at countless places.
– calamari tempura – 1/5 tasteless without the sauce
– rolls – 1/5 – honestly I forgot what I ordered. They weren’t memorable and the rice tasted very off. It didn’t taste like typical sushi rice. I would not recommend anyone order the sushi because it is that abysmal.
-“sushi” section – 5/5 this is the only saving grace and this is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1. I ordered the fresh salmon, seabass, tilapia, shrimp, fresh water eel, sweet egg, craw fish salad, masago. Next time, if I come here I’ll only order from this section and the appetizers. Overall, this place should be skipped and you’re better off making the drive to Arlington Heights to get some exceptional sushi.
