Use to love Strawhat pizza. Ordered a large combination $38, the crust was really thin like a frozen store bought, it looked like it wasn’t even cooked. It wasn’t even hot. All the toppings were cold.

It would be an understatement to say that the owners and staff are respectful and very pleasant. Extremely calm, peaceful, and cool with chairs or, if you like, couch-like sitting. I enjoy going there and ordering a personal pizza with two toppings, a wonderful fresh salad from the salad bar, and a glass of iced tea. I typically feel more at ease and full after lunch. I’d highly advise going.

Very very disappointing. Order large pan Meat-e-or pizza $30. The pizza was 80% dough, NO toppings to speak of. I would expect at least half inch of toppings on a large pan pizza, but none. I grabbed a slice and was just covered with some cheese and sauce. You could fit all the toppings of the pizza in one measuring cup, very very sad. Look at the pic, WHERE’S the toppings? After two piece I couldn’t eat it any more, not even tasty. I am NEVER going back.

I grew up on Straw Hat Pizza in the East Bay area and have been eating their Pizza for over 35 yrs. This pizza is one of a kind and has it’s own wonderful distinctive taste but my favorite part is the crust that’s almost crispy like a cracker!! Try Straw Hat because you’ll like them too!! Ps….
