We were very impressed with our beautiful dinner overlooking the gardens of Oglebay! We chose this place for our 19 year wedding anniversary dinner with our children. Debbie was our waitress and she was exceptionally wonderful! She made sure every detail was perfect down to what we had a drink or appetizer and our main course she even made accommodations for the kids. She made sure everybody had a wonderful time and we had this beautiful picture to remember our special night!!!

One of the most impressive things about Oglebay is that it isn’t hard to find vegetarian-friendly food, including this delicious Garden Bistro Sandwich. I usually pass up dessert, but I couldn’t resist their Turtle Domes. So scrumptious! Not a vegetarian? I have heard that their vichyssoise is really good!

We went on a Friday night during the lights and it was a fantastic choice. The patio had heaters and we picked up a s’mores kit for the kids. There was a steady stream of people but it was never crowded and felt like we could take all the time in the world. Don’t sleep on the food either! The grilled cheese was fantastic, with thick bacon and sourdough bread plus fresh kettle chips. My husband had chili and said it was delicious and spicy. Definitely check out this spot and then go see the mansion lights next door!

My husband and I had different salads with added chicken. Although a bit overpriced, they were both excellent. I would, however like to have seen a bit more of the dragonfruit in my salad. Server was very friendly.

Visited in 2019 and the food was delicious. I had the salmon burger and it was cooked perfectly tasted great. The sangrias were refreshing and the desert was at least passible. And of course the views are lovely
