My family was in town for my Mom’s funeral and Off the Square was across the street from Hill’s Funeral Service. They accomodated us and had such a warm friendly atmosphere that we can back the following evening. Food was great, drinks were fabulous and they have a beautiful courtyard as well. A must go if you are ever in Marianna, AR. Make sure you try the fried green tomatoes!!!

My husband, 2 year old son, and I are road tripping from Boston to New Orleans and found ourselves in Marianna. We were so happy to find this place!! Baby and I loved the chicken tenders- crispy and had a good spice flavor- and my husband loved his shrimp and grits and side of collared greens. Food quality was high and very tasty, drinks were cold and served quick! Our server was nice and attentive and we spoke to the owner for a bit- a very welcoming and friendly man. Would definitely recommend!!!

GREAT place. Excellent food. Good atmosphere. Delicious drinks. Hidden just off the city square. Mississippi culture, southern hospitality, and the delta blues themed memorabilia makes this quaint little bar a must visit.

Food is inconsistent and over priced for what you get . When its good its pretty but not for the price.

My husband and I finally had a chance to try this new restaurant. It was a perfect place for a date night. Great atmosphere and decor. Our food was delicious! Service was friendly and fast (we got there right when it opened a 4:30pm).

It would have been a 5 star instead of 4. The downsides were we ordered the Redneck Charcuterie and it was missing crackers (no one discounted or explained why it was missing) we still enjoyed it but to acknowledge it would have been appropriate. I feel the pasta meals are a bit overpriced for packaged noodles. If the noodles were made onsite from scratch, I’d have absolutely no complaint about price.

Overall it was a great experience!!!

I had dinner at this restaurant this weekend while visiting my parent’s lake house (I live in Little Rock). I admit going in I was a bit skeptical given the rural local. But wow, was I surprised. The Shrimp and Grits was fantastic. And all of the other entrees I saw served at my table looked impressive as well. Even the restaurant decor was well designed and very interesting.

Marianna may be small but they certainly have at least one A+ restaurant.

Had dinner with friends on a Friday evening. Off the Square is a gem. The owner and staff made us feel welcome and give the place a family feel. The drinks and food were devine. I had the Crawfish Mac & Cheese. It was creamy and delicious. I wish I had saved room for bread pudding! I will most definitely return.

Thought we would try it out last Friday night, and I was not disappointed! We had the Redneck Charcuterie and Toasted Ravioli for appetizers and both were good, although the ravioli was a fav for me! My husband and I both ordered something different so we could sample each others plate. He had the Crawfish Mac & Cheese and I had the Shrimp & Bucatini all ‘Marianna – both were really good! I loved the creamy sauce on my pasta. The waitstaff was so helpful and super friendly! We will definitely be back! This place is a jewel for a small town!
