This is one of those home diners where you roll in, get seated, there are cake and pie slices in a smaller luncheonette fridge and ‘80s era Trivial Pursuit cards at the table.

3% discount for cash, but they take cards – the staff are kind and attentive, the space is historic, cozy, and kitchy (we love a lit fireplace with three holidays’ worth of decor on Valentine’s Day!) and the food is tasty.

When you roll in and most patrons are 30-40 years older than you, you know it’s a SPOT. Make your way here – just don’t expect kale or tofu.

I’m more of a light breakfast/brunch girlie and the Heart Attack Stack was the breakfast of my dreams – just add a fruit cup side and you’re golden.

I had lunch at G Lodge Café and loved it! I ordered the tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat bread super fresh, light, and generously filled, served with crispy potato chips. My husband tried the steak omelet, which was hearty and flavorful, with tender meat, perfectly cooked eggs, and golden hash browns topped with ketchup, so good!

The atmosphere is charming and rustic, with a cozy stone fireplace and antique decor that makes you feel like you’re in a countryside cabin. Service was fast and friendly, and there’s easy parking. The outdoor fence area is a new inclusion and they serve ice cream and cafe. A great spot for a peaceful lunch near Phoenixville!

Cute little diner. Has a hold home feel, like an old tavern you might find in a fantasy movie .

Food and service were great. Pricing was not bad. Gets crowded and everything is pretty tight together.

Great prime rib omelet with home fries. Everyone else in our group’s order looked great also. They accommodated or large group of 10 people without any issues even though they were busy. I recommend going early on the weekend as they get very busy after 9am.

Been coming here off and on for a while. It’s a cozy little spot, definitely my jam. Speaking of they actually have orange marmalade so extra points Service is hit or miss, usually good though. Tasty, homey food, solid local diner fare. This past weekend however left me both bemused and mildly annoyed. I ordered the omelet special, which was supposed to come with chicken sausage, but when I got it…it was hotdogs. I don’t care how you slice it, this was straight-up hotdogs. Look we can discuss semantics on how *technically* a hotdog made with chicken could be called a ‘chicken sausage’ however. Just be honest guys. It’s hotdogs. I’m not gonna order pineapple pizza and expect pieces of apple and pine needles so I also didn’t expect literal hotdogs when they say sausage. Anyway. Still a good omelet. And yes I’ll be going again. I just might ask for a little more clarification of ingredients. Photo included for your viewing curiosity.

This restaurant is a quaint little eatery with a very friendly staff.

I ordered a smashed hamburger for lunch, which came with chips. I asked for fried onions and mushrooms, which are extra. The burger came out rather plain looking, with a very small amount of onions and mushrooms. The taste was average. Not overwhelming or underwhelming.

Because of the atmosphere and staff, I would return, and hopefully my next item is more satisfying.
