We were introduced to Obee’s while visiting family that lives in Venice, and now we make it a point to eat there whenever we’re visiting. This time we ate there twice during a week. Their bread, meats and condiments and salads are fresh and their subs taste like the best New England subs!

As a longtime fan of Jersey Mike’s, color me super impressed! Very friendly staff.
I got the Italian, and just wow. First time I’ve had an Italian sandwich that I like better than Jersey Mike’s (if only slightly).
My aunt got a seafood salad wrap, loved it! She said the broccoli cheddar soup was also very good.
I will be back!!

My first visit to Obee’s.
I asked google to help me find a place to get a salad. So I followed directions to Obee’s I decided on a seafood salad wrap. It was very good. The service was quick and I was lucky to get there when I did. A popular busy lunch place in Venice. I walked in and within 5 minutes the line was to the door.

We are locals visiting from Tampa for the day. We stopped by today, Saturday, 12/6 around 1:30pm. We have never dined here and we’re excited to try. Unfortunately we were approached by a young girl with dark hair who was very unpleasant. She seemed very annoyed that we were placing an order and not picking up. As soon as she rolled her eyes we knew this was not the place to stay. We did not want to inconvenience her or the other two girls who were all just standing around. We were the only ones in line. We walked out immediately. I will be posting this experience on other platforms and telling others. This is an unacceptable way to treat new customers.

Amazing prices. Delicious sandwiches!! We love the crab salad sandwich. They also sell the crab salad to go in 8oz or 12oz container. The cookies are amazing. The bread is soooooo soft!

Not inclined to call out the help, but the lady on order taking/meat cutting this afternoon hurt the usual Obees experience badly.
She Seemed flustered at a batch of orders when I arrived to show the place off to my friend. Openly flustered when I gave my order (bad day for Italians?), and my meat was like heavy front loaded with ham, it was like 90% ham 10% pepperoni as well… Other employees seemed on edge from this person. Even my friend walked out wondering if the place is normally like that. I said it’s not.

Wow wow wow! Obee’s surpasses any sub shop you’ll ever visit! They have fresh cuts of meat and cheese with traditional and quality toppings! I can’t recommend their spicy italian enough, but you MUST get their homemade dressing on the side! I hope to always swing by here to get a sandwich to-go before hitting the beach! Very reasonably priced 8 and 16 inch subs too! Great, happy crew as well!

All the workers helpful for it being our first time here. Sliced the meat for the sandwiches in front of us. Prices can’t be better! Can’t recommend this place enough!
I’d like to add a very demanding woman with a lot of attitude was after us, and the workers handled her perfectly and diffused the situation and had her leaving happy! It was impressive to watch!

Great little sandwich shop on the island. Incredible prices, sandwiches made to order, soups and salad. Get here early. They line up out the door for this place!
