The food and atmosphere here are out of this world. The food quality is easily five-star. The service is amazing! It’s so good, we went back three times during our short stay in Colorado Springs. This establishment is located in a building that’s about 150 years old. They offer fun entertainment at night as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Mother Muff’s is in a cool old building in Old Colorado City. The building has great charm with an old fashioned wooden bar and stained glass windows. Love the decor, and this place definitely has potential. It appears the restaurant had recently decorated for Christmas–there was an extension cord draped across the floor that was not taped or otherwise secured–definite tripping hazard, especially given its location at the top of the stairs to the basement restrooms (the only ones available that day).
Service was a slow, with our server disappearing for long periods of time while we waited for her to take our order or deliver drinks. She was friendly enough, just hard to find.
The food was very disappointing. I ordered the tenderloin and was looking forward to one of my favorite sandwiches. The tenderloin was pounded so thin it was difficult to determine whether there was any meat in it. Then it was WAY overcooked, almost to the point of being burnt. It came out a very dark brown–hard, crunchy, and lacking any satisfying flavor. My wife had the buffalo chicken tenders that were also overcooked. The place was not that busy, so not sure why the kitchen staff prepared the food this way.
Given my recent experience, I can’t recommend this place.

Came here for the viral Queen of the Tenderloins and while the size was definitely impressive, the food was overall a bit underwhelming. The tenderloin was dry and everything was overly greasy. It felt kind of like a bougie Waffle House. The vibe is really nice and they do trivia some nights but wouldn’t necessarily say it’s friendly for all families (music/mic can get loud so may not be the best for those with younger kiddos). Still had a good time, though unlikely to return for the food.

Nice, cozy historical place to dine. We visited first thing in the morning and the drinks were still tasty. Our food came out delicious and fresh. I had the tastiest Chicken and Waffles. We hung out and had a few more drinks and took in the amazing atmosphere. We will more than likely return sooner than later. We would like to visit again to check it out in the evening.

This was our first time to Mother Muffs, mainly for the all-day breakfast. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, and we settled on Fire Wings, Green Chili Cheese Fries, Tuna Melt, and a Nana Waffle. They were all excellent, and the Tuna Melt was probably the best I have ever had. A very nice selection of beers, cocktails, and other drinks accompanies the menu. Our waiter, Seth, was attentive, polite, and efficient! The atmosphere was comfy and cool with some TVs playing sports. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back! Great job, Mother Muffs!

Such a stunning, energetic, restaurant. Food is spectacular, has the “cooked at home but 100%’s better” taste. Not artificial, real, delicious. Every worker is different, offering a variety of dispositions each one equally kind and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

I completed the incline in the morning and this was my reward! Man oh man it was good. I was surprised to see a tenderloin and a Horseshoe on the menu. I’m an Illinois girl and that’s typically only found locally. I had the tenderloin and sweet potato fries. They were both perfect! We had the cheese sticks for an appetizer. GET THE CHEESE STICKS! You will not be disappointed. I also had an Irish coffee ☕️. It really hit the spot! I’m so glad we stopped in. Our waitress was phenomenal too. Y’all are doing great work, keep it up!

We sure won’t be back – party of 4 breakfast hungry folks at 9:30am on Sunday morn – very disappointed. Never saw so many silly nonsense, signs in all my life – as if folks are going to stop in the tiny entrance room and actually read all these crazy instructions. Once seated, we get a breakfast menu that only has 3-4 items on it! This is Sunday pre-Broncos Game morning, and no breakfast selection!! Say What?!! We were informed that the restaurant was “slammed” on Saturday and had run out of breakfast essentials – food! OK, stuff happens, but not in my house. Poor management planning and preparation on their part. Hey clean up that Men’s bathroom while you’re at it, after a busy Saturday maybe. We won’t be back, Adios Mother Muff. 5 Thumbs Down and 1 Star. But 1 Star only because the food we did get was pretty good and service was OK.
