on the plus side, my turkey club was made with real turkey, not deli lunch meat, and the bread and tomatoes were both fresh and delicious. On the negative side, the DJ was Way Too Loud! I play in a rock band, so for me to say something is loud means it’s really loud. at 6pm on a Sunday???

I don’t usually review, but we had such an amazing experience. We were lead here because of their oysters, and they did not disappoint… But furthermore, their waitstaff wound up being the selling point. They were phenomenal- Sean, Bree, and Alison could not have treated us better. We will be back no doubt!!!

The food gets a -100. I ordered wings a couple weeks ago and what I got served was six or seven small wings with hot sauce lightly drizzled on them. Hardly fit the description of ‘wings tossed in buffalo wing sauce’. It was literally Tabasco. I bit into the first wing and it was ice cold bloody chicken meat. Literrally the bone was frozen. Talk about flash frying! Yeah, it was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Needless to say I sent then back and ate elsewhere. Not sure what happened to this place but the the food is a health hazard.

4 stars for great service, live music, fun times…3 stars for food and that’s being generous. Pizza not so good. Sweet potatoes in maple syrup, my fault for not reading menu…would have been good without syrup. Fun times great location!

What a great place. The food was fantastic. Scallops and shrimp over linguini and an amazing blackened Salmon. Took the family and even had a chance to meet the owner Jimmy. Keep up the great work.

the service was good but the food is just ok. the wings are so giant that the first round i got were ice cold in the middle. they did correct this, but kind of an appetite killer. the wings are suspiciously large. the bar is fun and inside turns into a night club

Terrible. This is the first time I’ve ever left a bad review on a place I disliked. First off, we waited an hour to get our food. Could be because it was packed, but you’ll see why this doesn’t add up later.

Oar House was once Lobster Loft…. the new owners did a masterful job upgrading, it looks terrific now. Band plays over dinner now, a nice touch if you like music!
