The pulled pork was FULL of fat. Couldn’t eat it. The baked beans were cold and straight from a can, no seasoning. The fries were the only semi good thing but even they were nearly burnt. The lemonade was water with a tiny squeeze of lemon, if that. The cornbread was dry and tasteless. They had sandwiches on the menu but we’re out of buns. The table was sticky and it was the cleanest one in the completely empty room. We were looking for something new, we will keep looking. Will not return.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but here it goes. I was passing through, 1st time at this place. I got a pound of pulled pork and a pound of baked beans. The pork was so fatty and gross that we couldn’t eat it. And tasted awful. The baked beans were horrible as well. It’s hard to screw up baked beans as I like Busch’s out of a can. I only spent 26$ thank god, please read this before you there and spend more. This place needs shut down. I should have known better as there wasn’t one person eating there.

previous post: i got the leg platter with cheese spaghetti. cheese spaghetti was good. the legs were great!! the carolina sauce was so good i saved one and took it back home. the half unsweetened and half sweet tea wasnt that great. however the cornbread was out of this world amazing. i reiterate that the corn bread is probably the best i have ever had. a must try place if you are in the area.

I think this was possibly one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. It clearly has not been cleaned adequately and the service was atrocious. Also got food poisoning from their pulled pork sandwich. Do not recommend

Great BBQ. Brisket sandwich was high quality, very tender. Small comfortable indoor outdoor setting. Not crazy about the sweet tea. Great fries.

Geeezzz!!! Where to start? You start with the Fat Man himself, super personality. He is what all owners of businesses wish they could be. Proud of his product and obviously has the goods to back it up. Had the FatMan Special, chicken, pulled pork and brisket. Everything was moist and tasty. Brisket was off the chart for me. The couple next to me were a little shocked. No fork needed when eating good barbecue, it’s get down and dirty with your hands. No sauce for me, the purest experience is just the meat. You also get cheesy spaghetti, dirty beans, greens which were delicious, fried cabbage, Cole slaw, the one thing I didn’t like was the marinated mix vegetables even though I ate them, just not my thing. Also you get a nice piece of cornbread. Wash it down with some sweet tea. All for less than 20 bucks. Great deal and great place. Go see the FatMan and tell him MRBARBQ1 sent you.

The owner, fat man, was fantastic. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The corn bread was moist and tasty. All of the sides were great. I have gone to several bbq places around central Ohio and this is by far the best. If you like BBQ, you need to stop in!
