Wow! I live in the Springs so every time I come to Florence I have to come here. Best burgers!!!! Ever! I tried the slopper this time and the green chili was a bit spicy with lots of flavor. Sweet potato fries are very good! Beer is cold. Atmosphere is small town friendly.

This is a great place to stop in for lunch while taking the day to shop the antique stores. While the hamburger and stealth fries were okay, I really enjoyed the hot and freshly-warmed chips and salsa. The dessert sopapillas were awesome and we had to talk ourselves out of getting a few orders to go.

Nice and clean place. Waitress was super friendly and suggested the burger. I got a bacon cheeseburger and husband had a burrito. The burger was good and just the right size for me. Husband said the green chili was a little bland but he does like spicy stuff so that’s probably why. He said had good flavor but no heat! We would come back here again.

It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon, in between lunch and dinner hour. The service was fantastic, the food was, the burger, rather was MEH! I ordered the guacamole, cheese, and bacon burger. The meat was well and warm, the bacon was cold, the bun was cold and the guacamole thin and processed tasting. My husband ordered the wings and they were VERY good. Yes, I definitely had order regret. My onion rings were commercially frozen and fried, but hey, I like that, so I had no regrets with them. All and all I may have chosen the sisters verses Oak Creek, but then I wouldn’t have had those amazing wings. It’s a meal and my hunger is satisfied after visiting the Royal Gorge. Thank you for the meal and friendly service.

It’s not a completely new establishment since the new (previous owners) required it. I can say the Slopper is great, the naked wings are quite good as are their fries. They aren’t serving those same seasoned crunchy fries that everyone else (and I mean everyone else) is serving. Their fries are just different, not out of this world but fries I really like as to all the others same ol same.
It’s the same decor but different vibe. This establishment is a bit different now as it’s Team Driven. She gives the vibe of you’re welcome to come in and eat all you want and be gives the same vibe of…what she said, whutcha want ?!
