I love this place. Prices are a little high but the owner is wonderful (same guy that owns Manning’s in Como) and the bartenders are fantastic and fun to chat with during less busy times. Of course, the piano experience is unique and the only it’s place to find that in all of MN!

This is based mainly on the girl behind the bar. The bartender couldn’t have been more uninterested in working nor helping us. She was on her phone, drinking water literally had to flag her down to get help in an otherwise empty bar. The martinis, gin was first and the vodka martini was made with the same ice so although it was a vodka martini – it had an undertone of gin. Not great. All in all a poor experience returning to a place for which I have such fond memories.

I miss the original Nyes. Our visit was so disappointing. Don’t ask the bartenders to pour anything more complicated than a beer or rum and coke. Super noisy too.

Please, for the love of God, tip the pianist if you go. If not, she will make you suffer for the duration of your singing and that is IF she plays your song. The dude they had sub like two months ago was cool like the other side of the pillow.

Was a newly rebuilt bar, that has some history to it. Had a fairly large group with me, when we moved two tables together we got an attitude from the bartender, big time. When confronted about it she claimed it wasn’t her issue but her bosses about us moving the tables. Needless to say we finished our drinks, moved the tables back and left to go next door. I would suggest the bar but only if there is a different bar tender than what we had. And FYI, they don’t serve food.

Great live piano karaoke! Soo much fun great vibes. The pianist is fantastic and it is so much fun to come here, way better than doing canned karaoke. Sing with a real pianist and live your life. Don’t look back

Packed to the hilt, service was minimal due to space restrictions, noise level was over the top loud (even over the live entertainment), drinks were mediocre at best (I’ve had the equivalent or better at dive bars) and extremely expensive. The staff is doing their best, but there’s no level of control at this location and it shows.

Really wanted to try the pierogi’s that used to be on the menu when they had a kitchen, but still worth the trip. Exceptional crafted cocktails. Pre-prohibition and modern. Make it a stop on your list.
