I usually get the Nutmeg scramble or shashuka, but ordered the Spicy Corn Beef Hash this time. Love the heat. Everyone else like their orders.
There is seating inside and a small patio outside. The business expanded recently to offer more indoor seating and a cute little boutique shop next door.
The service was okay overall, but the barista was a bit rude when we asked for a water cup. He insisted there were cups out for us to grab, but there were none. It wasn’t until he checked himself that he realized the cup area was empty. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the experience.
The biggest issue is that the pricing no longer matches the quality. We paid $75 for two adult plates and one child’s meal, which feels excessive given the taste and quality.
I gave this place another chance, but that was the last one. I won’t be visiting again.
I visited on a Saturday morning and it was packed—every table taken, filled with people enjoying their food and conversations. The cashier mentioned that Fridays through Sundays are usually the busiest, especially before 9:30 AM. In the afternoon, things tend to quiet down around 2 PM.
When I came back for lunch and was equally impressed. They offer a variety of healthy and nutritious options. The Wi-Fi is fast, the restrooms are clean. A decent environment for working, reading, or casual conversations. There’s even free water and excellent coffee.
One thing to note: parking can be tight on weekends and Fridays, but it’s manageable during other times.
