We each had the soup and half sandwich combo, mine was roastbeef Mom had turkey. The turkey and roast beef for real turkey and roast beef not cold cuts and the chicken soup was quite tasty. There is enough roast beef for another half sandwich!

The Nutley Diner has a very friendly surrounding neighborhood, a feeling that soaks well into the establishment. Staff is a bit on edge and inattentive but for the most part food comes quick and the bill comes quicker. My experience with the “Bagel Deluxe” left me confused as it had no familiarities that I conjured up as being Deluxe. The bread was lukewarm, topping were all separate and appeared as a salad, and worst of all I had to ask for cream cheese and it was given to me in packets like the ones served in school where you have to spread yourself. Once I assembled my meal the salmon itself was very pleasant. It left a smokey taste which when combined with the velvety feel of the fish, makes for the experience I was hoping for. In conclusion: will I be back? Yes.

Yesterday I went to Nutley Diner for breakfast. The food was absolutely phenomenal! I had ordered the New Yorker Breakfast Bowl. It consists of Grilled Steak w/ Home fries, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Peppers, & Mozzarella. Topped with 2 eggs over easy (your choice). And for the side I ordered their Sautéed Asparagus w/ Garlic & Olive Oil. My guest ordered their French Toast Napoleon for breakfast. It comes with French Toast topped w/ Strawberry, Bananas, & Whipped Cream. And dusted with Powdered Sugar & Cinnamon. They also ordered the Chicken Sausages on the side. My breakfast bowl was AMAZING! The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The home fries were on the money and the eggs and other veggies were extremely fresh and phenomenal in flavor! Best breakfast I had in a long, long time. The sautéed asparagus were absolutely tantalizing. It was such a great pairing to add with the breakfast bowl! The guest I was with said that their breakfast was really good as well too. From the food to their excellent customer service, everything was GREAT! I’d absolutely be going to Nutley Diner again for breakfast!!!!!!!

This place is way too over priced. The service is mundane, with the waiter barely checking on us. The food is very dry and tasteless. I don’t know how a place could mess up a classic burger. Don’t get the onion soup, one of the most dreadful meals I’ve had in my life. Would not recommend and will not be visiting again.

Great local diner with the usual American style fixings. The service is all around fantastic, and the food was great. I enjoyed my Hungry Man breakfast, good french toast, good pancakes. And the coffee refills kept on coming! Downside is no free parking, but it’s about $0.50 for an hour in the municipal lot.

Absolutely the worst service I had ever received. I ordered a chicken wrap. The chicken was rubbery and tasted like it was uncooked had a Fowel smell. French fries where cold. I took one bite and asked for a refund. I was told no refunds. If you are looking for anything to eat look elsewhere.
