We had dinner at Numero 28 in Allen, TX, and I have to say — the food completely blew us away! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and bursting with authentic Italian flavors. We tried their pizza, spaghetti, salad, arancina vegetariana, and caprese sandwich, and each dish had that perfect homemade touch. The pizza crust was beautifully crisp with just the right amount of chew, the spaghetti sauce tasted rich and perfectly seasoned, and the arancina was absolutely incredible — crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside. Even the simple salad and caprese sandwich stood out with their freshness and quality ingredients. If we were rating purely on food, it’s an easy 5 stars all around. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into each dish. It’s the kind of meal that makes you want to come back to try more items from the menu. The only area that fell a bit short was the service. While the staff was friendly, the attentiveness just wasn’t there. We had to remind the servers multiple times for basics like water refills, napkins, and small requests. It wasn’t terrible, but it did take away from what otherwise would have been a flawless dining experience.Overall, Numero 28 is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Italian food. The flavors and quality make it a place worth visiting again, and I truly hope the service catches up to the level of their phenomenal cuisine. We’ll definitely be back — the food alone makes it hard to stay away

Heard great things about this place and was craving Italian so here we were! Everything was delicious, LOVED everything we ordered. The cacio e Pepe was my favorite and my husband’s was the pizza. The best part about the cacio e pepe was that it was served tossed in a cheese wheel – which was cool to see as it’s done at your table. Will definitely be back for the next Italian craving!

Oh my gosh this place was incredible!! We will absolutely be back. They had me at HOMEMADE pasta and sauces. SO good!!! We met Melita who was super nice and our waiter was awesome. We had the polpette appetizer (meatballs with Parmesan), chicken Parmesan with the suggested Alfredo sauce, lasagna bolognese, and limencellos. Just incredible!!!!!

I recently visited this restaurant and was genuinely impressed by the food quality. My friend and I ordered a range of dishes, including a freshly made pasta with a rich tomato basil sauce and a thin-crust vegetarian pizza topped with colorful bell peppers, spinach, and melted mozzarella. Both dishes had fantastic flavor and satisfying textures. The atmosphere was lively yet welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside was that the place was quite crowded, which made it a bit tricky to find space for my purse and keep my belongings organized amid the busy environment.

Went here Saturday, Jan 16, at 7:00 pm., excited to try pizza at a different place. The Prosciutto Pizza was ok, but the dough was not special. I wouldn’t order a pizza here again. The lasagna was rather basic. Nice atmosphere, and our waiter was super nice, but no reason to go back. I prefer the pizza at Pie Tap.
The Expresso Martini’s looked great from afar, but was not creamy or sweet, and so was not very tasty, and was disappointing.

This beautiful restaurant was so next level. I’m a 2nd generation Italian girl who migrated from “the neighborhood” in Chicago to North Texas. All pasta was fresh, sauces were not overly heavy and everything was seasoned to perfection. The wait staff was professional, well trained spectacular and attentive. We were a party of 18 yet they didn’t forget any details or special request. The restaurant was charming and authentic. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience

Italian-owned and run by real Italians with genuine Italian chefs — and as an Italian myself, I can vouch for its authenticity. Located in a strip mall with free parking, this place is warm and welcoming. The owner is incredibly nice, and the staff are treated like family, which shows in the service.
There’s seating indoors, at the bar, and outdoors — and even in summer, the outdoor tables are comfortable thanks to fans above them. The menu even includes the famous Aperitivo Spritz.
Highly recommend their lasagna, and if you’re in the mood for pizza, the No. 28 — a white pizza with truffle and speck (Italian ham) — is absolutely to die for. A true one-of-a-kind spot!

I went for dinner with friends and ordered Melanzane Alla Parmigiana (Gluten Free), or Eggplant Parmigiana. It was a Tuscan style meal that was perfectly seasoned.
Our waiter was courteous and attentive.
I couldn’t have been happier.
