Omgggggg. We went around 2 on a Tuesday. We had been before but not this location. Brent was our server and supppppper attentive and kind! Came to check on us the perfect number of times! They give complementary sourdough rolls with fluffy butter and these beans with prime rib and jalepenos in it. Delish!! Im not a fan of sourdough per se, but the rolls had this little bit to them that Omgosh made them sooo good. We tried the onion blossom first and danggg I ain’t never had one that tasted like her before! She was delicious! For the main course. I got the fully loaded baked potato and the steak. My mom got pork chops which she has been talking about wanting for weeks and a baked potato. We both got salads with croutons. Dude the croutons were soooo good! I was like I need one of those rolls and a handful of croutons TO GO! LoL and Brent made it happen! Also OHMYGOSH the steak was like a mouthgasm! It had this char on it that I have never tasted anywhere else. It was so juicy. Like seriously all I can do is think about that steak today! My mom was obsessed with her pork chops too, the drive back to Pismo all she could do was go on and on and about how juicy, flavorful and melt in ur mouth good they were! Def next time we come to the beach on vacation we 1000% are adding this place to our go to listing! Come by and give them a try!

We went for lunch and it was delicious! The portions were huge! Our waitress was so nice and very attentive. We went on a weekday so it was not busy at all. We will definitely be returning.

I’ve been here about three times lately. Service is usually nice, but on weekends… it takes forever.
The food, though, is awesome! They give you dinner rolls with beans and either salad or beef stew. Beef stew is amazing here! I would choose that over salad haha Food portions are huge here, so I always leave with leftovers. Honestly, you don’t really need appetizers, but we ordered some just to try. The Sundance Shrimp was just okay for me, but the onion blossom was pretty good. For the main plate, loved the pasta here! It tastes like olive garden’s pasta but 10 times better lol and the steak was great too, cooked very well. Overall, the food quality is solid here!!
Definitely recommend coming on a weekday for a smoother experience. But it is on the quite pricey side.

I was by myself so I went to the bar. Kendall was my server and she got me started right away with my favorite beverage, Long Island Iced Tea.
I got the onion blossom and a tri tip sandwich. I mentioned that when I was done with the Long Island Iced Tea I’d like a Michelob Ultra and as soon as I took the last sip of the Long Island, the Ultra was there. The food was excellent as was the service. A trip to a restaurant is very dependent on the service as to how enjoyable the experience is. Thank you for an enjoyable part of my evening!

We went on a Valentines day, obviously it was packed, parking was difficult and an hour wait, again I understand it was Valentines day. So it was not an issue we kinda expecting that. But despite the busy night, service was still great, AJ our server was awesome!
I like that they have pleanty of options on their menu. The food is very good, a little bit on the under seasoned side, but still good.

I had some family come to visit and were craving steak. We came on a Tuesday for lunch with 3 people and 5 small dogs. The manager who is named George personally took our order at the bar and then personally served us outside the outdoor patio. He personally served us – our food came in to go boxes but it was perfect, it was already boxed when we were ready to leave – they serve large portions!! I had the full rack of ribs, family had a steak and prime rib. The meat was cooked to perfection !! full of flavor and fall of the bone scrumptious ribs. The prime rib and steak was gobbled up by both my sisters !! I had lobster macaroni and cheese as my upgraded side and it was very delish !! Their portions served and delicious food made me feel very good about paying the bill that I thought was well worth for all the food and upgraded sides we had !! Even over the top blessing for us was that their very own manager, George, served us personally with our furbabies outside was top notch service !!!! WE SO THANK YOU FOR THE EXEMPLERY SERVICE THAT YOU GAVE US !!!! We felt like royalty !! This place is now a favorite place to go ❤️

There are many great Steakhouse restaurants to choose from in the greater Santa Maria valley. I have tried them all with the exception of AJ SPURS, and we all have our markers of distinction, in more than handful of visits in the past 2 or 3 years, the food quality, presentation, service and overall value is consistently higher here than any of the other highly esteemed venues in the area. Last night, 1/3/2026, proved my point, to myself anyway. 2 people, 2 combos, (I usually opt for a big ribeye but wanted more variety this visit), end result, plates basically scraped clean with a nice little sampler box to take home. I was being treated by my friend who was very pleasantly surprised at the tab after all of that food. Bon Appétit

Great rustic atmosphere with fantastic food. We really enjoyed my daughters dinner there. The portions are large enough for two to three meals for me. It was worth every penny. Although parking can be a challenge sometimes.

Cool spot with great service and an awesome staff, everyone was friendly and attentive. Appetizers were very good, and the sides and desserts really stood out. Unfortunately, the ribeye ordered medium rare came out overcooked and not very tender, which was a letdown. That said, everything else was solid, and I’d definitely come back for the sides, appetizers, and desserts.
