Sleek Spot for Sushi Lovers

Nori Sushi and Grill offers a modern interior with clean lines and a stylish, comfortable ambiance, making it a great spot whether you’re dining in or picking up. The staff were friendly and welcoming, that set a positive tone for the experience.

The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, with each roll balanced in flavor and texture. Their menu covers all the classic sushi and sashimi options, making it easy for both newcomers and regulars to find their favorites.

The place has “Build Your Sushi Plate” fun wall to chalk out your sushi . Ordering is also made simple with a self-serve kiosk. For takeout, food bags sturdy and simple.

I recommend this place for anyone who enjoys quality sushi and I will return for more of their fresh rolls and smooth service.

The salmon was slimy and clearly spoiled. You could smell it across the room. And the worst part is my vegetable teriyaki was clearly warmed in the same pan (with its hint of spoiled fish taste), so if you’re hoping for vegetarian fare, you’re definitely not getting it. If this were a regular restaurant with spoiled fish, I’d be a little less concerned, but sushi is right there in the name. You should probably have some level of quality control if you’re going to serve people raw disease vectors.

Literally all the food is premade likely days in advance. The chicken in my chicken steak hibachi was a giant clump like it was frozen. My steak ordered medium was grey, dry and stale like it was a weeks old left overs. The wife’s sushi was premade and very very stale. Couldn’t get through the second piece of the roll. For almost $100 in take out, I wouldn’t take it if it was free. It’s really terrible. Worst takeout o have had in years.

This may be my new favorite sushi spot. We got to try a variety of pieces from different rolls as well as takoyaki for an appetizer. Everything was delicious and the kind lady working there was extremely helpful and friendly.

This place reminds me a lot of what used to be my favorite sushi place before it closed down. I can’t wait to order from here again!

I stopped in to Nori Sushi and Grill while shopping nearby recently. The utilitarian space was clean, but largely empty, save for a friendly young woman behind the counter who directed me to some menus on the counter.

There were a couple of glass-front refrigerated displays which contained a couple of small plates with some items on them, but it was unclear what they were or if they were for sale. A digital display stood near the entry where one could order and pay, but the young woman was eager to take my order.

I ordered three fairly common sushi rolls: California, Shrimp Tempura, and Rainbow.

I’ve eaten enough sushi in enough restaurants to know when quality ingredients are used, and Nori seems to source with quality in mind.

All three rolls were delicious and freshly prepared (in a kitchen behind a curtain). The shrimp was still warm from preparation, the tempura crisp, but not oily in any way. The fish in the rainbow rolls was buttery and delightful, not leaving any fishy after taste. Solid “A Tier” sushi at a decent price.

As a side note, both pickled ginger and “wasabi” paste is prepackaged like ketchup or mustard packets in a container on the table, which is something I’ve not seen often. Neither bad nor good, just different.

Verdict: Solid sushi, would definitely eat here again (and again).

Pros: Quality, Freshness, Fast, Great Technique
Cons: Small Space, Minimal Atmosphere

For 3 rolls of sushi and steak yakisoba to take 5 minutes should have been the first warning. The sushi was… fine. But the yakisoba was INEDIBLE, couldn’t taste the noodles and the steak was grey and tasted like chemicals.

Love the selection of individual sushi pieces feature and how delicious it all was. My favorite has been the Phoenix roll and the spicy tuna was actually spicy. Absolutely would recommend and we plan on going back very soon, maybe even tomorrow.
