I’ve gotten takeout from noppokao ~1x per week for the past 2 years, definitely the best Thai place in the area. Delicious food and huge portions (especially on the appetizers). Great service, never had to wait extra for a pickup order.

You can enjoy great Thai food after a stroll around the Juanita Beach area. This restaurant has an attractive exterior, interior, and really delicious menu options. The service was timely, and the prices are reasonable.
We felt very welcome to stay after the meal and enjoy more beverages and good conversations. A large attractive fish tank is a special featured decor. Booth and table seating are optional. It is a wheelchair friendly place with a peaceful vibe.

When we first moved to Kirkland back in 2002, Noppakao used to be one of our local favorites. I moved here from LA, re land of a thousand Thai restaurants, and i dared say the 2002 Noppakao was up there with some of the best I’ve had.
Over the years ownership changed and so did the food and after several disappointing experiences we stopped going.
On a quiet Monday evening we worked later than planned and had to scramble for dinner. Our usual go to restaurants were closed so we thought we should give Noppakao another try. There were only 2 other tables there with us. We ordered chicken wings, pad woo sen, and Lemongrass chicken.
The chicken wings were not fresh, tasted like the wings had long expired before being fried and served up. After a couple bites i could not eat anything anymore and we just left with much sadness.

Very good Thai food in the area. I would give a 5 stars, but my dry noodles dish came out a little too soft. It felt like they put the noodles too long in the hot water.

The service was very friendly. Our food came out hot and the portions were large! The thai ice coffee was great. I love the high-back, large booths. Noise level was minimal and the restroom was clean. For reference, we arrived at ~6:30 pm on a Wednesday. We were seated right away. I will return soon. 🙂

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. The place has gotten a little worn in. My menu was a little sticky which I didn’t like. The service was really good. I liked all the dishes we ordered…tom yum soup, 3 flavored trout, crying tiger beef salad, appetizer sampler. They are also on the passport which was a bonus. I would go back.

I stopped in for a lunch and thought I should leave a review. I’m giving it a 3.5 stars and rounding up to 4. Here’s what I liked: fast service, nice setting, friendly staff. I ordered Panang Curry with extra vegetables. The taste was crisp and refreshing but not the same delicious level I expect from Thai food in Seattle. Also, I’d say if you’re accustomed to Thai food in Seattle you’ll want to order 1-2 stars spicier than usual.

We ordered red curry and pad thai. If you following my other reviews you know these two kind of dishes we (almost) always order. I can say their food is one of the best thai food in Seattle’s & surroundings. The worker doesn’t talk too much which you might experience cold welcomes, but who cares as long as they do their job and the food is good, I’d like to recommend this place! The price on the menu doesn’t up to date I guess, after we got the bill, but their price still reasonable. The only thing is I feel the toilet a bit creepy, I’d try not to go to the toilet if I visit the restaurant again.. good food!

Good vegan options. Amazing seafood combo. They usually do the order well and correctly and when not, they fix it complimentary. Nicole is so kind. Wonderful staff

Honor to this place serving good Thai Food for over a decade. Love supporting local businesses whose food and art are authentic to the ethnic culture. Cool aquariums here with good aesthetic. Wonderful energy

We tried the spring rolls (fresh, crunchy, really good), the crying tiger (good but fish sauce was pungent), orange sauce chicken (not so good) and the satay chicken (good). All in all everything was served fresh and service was nice. Restaurant was clean and within walking distance to the beach.
