I went here one evening after work just to give them a try. The drinks were pretty good, had margaritas mango and passion fruit. The atmosphere was relaxing, we sat near the picture windows which gave a view of downtown not that it was captivating, it was just visual…lol. Now, on to the food. We had appetizers, the beef nachos, chicken quesadillas and carne frita (fried pork) Everything was just ok. I requested no onions and everything came out with onions. I didn’t send it back because I don’t like the thought of throwing away food and although they didn’t follow instructions, we just made the best of the meal. The pork was a little too hard but not terrible. The appetizer selection wasn’t vast but I had to remind myself that traditional appetizers are not their fortay. I’d say, you need to visit for yourself and pass your own judgement. The server was very nice and accommodating.

The presentation of the food is amazing, the quality of ingredients was cheap the sweet plantain was cooked only in the outside completely uncooked inside the steak cut was tough and chewy. The service was slow. The space decor was good.

Everyone in my group enjoyed the food and we will definitely go back. The location is very large, so it would be a great place for a birthday party or other occasion, and probably a good option for kids as well. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were big – my husband and I both left with enough for another meal. He ordered the parillada mixt and it was huge (see picture) – only $22! Happy to have a new option for dining in in downtown New Britain.

The restaurant always has a good atmosphere the murals, paintings, and music make the place pop. The food is good and fairly priced for the portions. The staff are friendly and always look out especially Jessica who’s always there .

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Night in Columbia for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
We started with both chicken and beef empanadas, and they were absolutely delicious. While we enjoyed both, the beef empanadas were our favorite—though honestly, you can’t go wrong either way. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful fillings.
For our entrées, I had the steak, and my wife opted for the seafood soup. The portions were very generous, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. My steak was tender and well-seasoned, and the seafood soup was hearty and full of fresh, flavorful seafood.
To top it all off, we couldn’t resist trying the tres leches for dessert, and it was fantastic! The cake was moist, sweet, and rich without being overwhelming—just the perfect way to end an already amazing meal.
We also want to mention the bartender, who added so much to our experience. She was incredibly friendly and made great conversation with us throughout our meal. Her warmth and attentiveness really made us feel welcome, and she added a personal touch to the whole dining experience.
The food here is incredible, the portions are generous, and the service is outstanding. From start to finish, it was a wonderful meal, and we highly recommend Night in Columbia to anyone looking for delicious Colombian cuisine and a great atmosphere. This place is a gem!

So I was with my gf that’s not of this area but I’m from New Britain and I see for the 1st time that this place has some people drinking and was very friendly at 1st I ordered our 1st 2 drinks it was a regular price 30$ for both drinks I said ok cool ,,,2nd drink I said hey let me get parcha (puerto rican lingo for passion fruit) as soon as I said that the bartender noticed I was Puerto Rican n charged me 20$ for a small drink I was like really wow that’s crazy we’re both Hispanic and you treated me differently cause I was Puerto Rican that’s wild I will never go back there again

We travel from MA to check out the place Saturday night from the minute we walk in the waitress Lorena was very attentive and service was great. Food was amazing we tried the strawberry margarita , carne asada, picada paisa, maduro con queso , pan de bono with guava. Worth the 45 min travel would deff do it again. Cant wait to try their breakfast.
