We ate lunch here at Nietos. Wasn’t a busy lunch crowd. They greeted us and we got a booth, the chips and salsa was delicious. The lunch menu was a good price and nice portion size, was not stingy on the quantity and I like that. We just felt rushed like our waitress wanted us to leave, we ignored it and finished eating. She brought boxes before we were even done or we asked.

My family of four and I came in literally 10 mins before they were supposed to close. The hostess graciously allowed us to not only order food (we were intending to take it to-go because we came in so late), but allowed us to take our time picking from the menu and to sit down at a table. We had traveled over 800 miles from home, so this stop and food were a much needed respite during our holiday travels. The food was amazing and hit the spot juuuust right! The furnishings and overall dining area have clearly been around awhile, but the food and service made up for the outdated eating area. My kids highly reccomend the pink lemonade

I read a review before we came that said “best Mexican food within 50 miles” and that WAS NOT A LIE! The salsa is SLAMMIN and of course every plate we had was delicious. We can’t wait to be back. Family owned & ran. Service was great.

My family has been coming here for years! My parents come here 2-3 times a week!Great service & the BEST food EVERRR!!! My husband & I travel 1 & 1/2 hours to eat here. Ask for Juan. He’s the best server! Ignore all the bad reviews!!! Out of all the places we have to choose from in Waco, Austin or Dallas, we would always choose Nieto’s!!! Five stars from us always!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
