looking for food in Malibu we came across this restaurant, we decided to have dinner here, as it turned out it was the best decision of the evening. The place is inconspicuous, but with the possibility of eating outside or in the middle of the kitchen, it is impressive. food was delicious, Burger was perfectly done chips also fish and pasta too. service at the highest level and attention to detail made a great impression. I heartily recommend this place for family dinners, dates or social gatherings

Worth the further beautiful drive from Santa Monica! Best food out in a while! Adult son said the lamb sausage and sides were the best food he ever ate, even the salad dressing was raved about. As you can see, we cleaned our plates! The steak and shrimp were divine!

An informal spot in Malibu for distinctive French cuisine. We went there for a late evening snack/dessert,and enjoyed our stay. I can highly recommend their fish soup and heirloom tomato appetizer 🙂 Their drinks are solid and innovative. I recommend the Penicillin and a Bike Thief. Finally, we were recommended an apple cobbler with ice cream but,as a matter of fact, we were served a strawberry cobbler. It was actually pretty good; however, people who have allergies can’t afford a mistake like that… anyway,we still recommend! Also, our server had a sense of humor whichvwe also enjoyed! 😉

Apologies for no pictures. Nicolas is a nice little upscale eatery in Malibu. We stopped in for lunch. The service was fantastic! My friend ordered an off the menu item, shrimp & bacon sandwich, which the server was happy accommodate. It was delicious! I ordered the house burger & fries. I had very high expectations for this $22-dollar burger. Sadly it did not meet my expectation. The best way to describe – it was “over-engineered”. Something was done to the patty that gave it a weird flavor. Believe me, I tried really hard to like it. I had much better burger at a local bar-and-grill. The fries were pretty good though! Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

Food was excellent, portions small, service, well I was never asked if I wanted another drink so i never got one and seemed to take forever to get eye contact. When the desert menu came it was just to late and I was ready to leave. Maybe it was because it was just me and my 3 kids and I wasn’t dressed in more than a tee shirt and jeans.
