Always good and consistent, love ordering food from here late at night! The portions are great sized and food is always hot and fresh when it gets to us. We love their gyros, protein bowls and salads. The kind of food that doesn’t weigh you down and you feel good after eating. Open late and is a much healthier option than others out there. Overall 5 stars!

It’s a pretty spacious place with lots of seating. you can order from the iPads when you walk in or at the register. The menu is pretty nice with salads and plates or bowls. I ordered the Gyro pita and it comes with fries and tzatziki sauce on a great pita. Very tasty. My wife got the Mediterranean bowl and it had lots of great stuff on it like kale, pickled onions, garbanzo beans, and rice. Not too expensive as well.

My partner and I spent about $50 for two people and left full and happy. I got the gyro and will be getting something different next time, didn’t love the meat. The food was fresh and flavorful — a great value for the quality and portions. I especially loved their strawberry dragonfruit aqua fresca — so refreshing!
Next time, I’ll remember to ask for no sauce on my meal (just a personal preference) and definitely try their baklava. Overall, a solid go-to for quick, tasty Mediterranean food in Santa Cruz!

I ate here yesterday and I have been sick from the food all night and this morning. Do not eat here. I got the chicken gyro bowl and I should have known something was off. The chicken was rock hard, almost impossible to chew. Super dry, cold, and crusty.

Also the portion was a rip off for $17 to not even fill half of the bowl. I suppose I was lucky I got such awful skimpy portions because I probably would have been even sicker

Nick the Greek in downtown Santa Cruz is a great stop to fuel up when visiting the Boardwalk, Surfing Museum, Natural Bridges Beach, or just exploring around town. I usually go for the chicken wrap or falafel wrap with fries—always made with fresh ingredients and consistently tasty.

The restaurant is clean (including the bathrooms), and the staff are polite and welcoming. Overall, a solid spot for a quick and satisfying meal when you’re in Santa Cruz.

Quick Tip: Try the falafel wrap with fries—fresh, filling, and delicious!

I’m not Greek but I do love. Falafel or a gyro in a wrap. I had the beef/lamb pita for $13.25+tax and tip. It was tasty. The pita was light and fluffy and the pita tasted good. Maybe it’s not the most authentic pita I’d ever had but it was great for a quick bite to eat, if you’re in the run. Not a please to come if you’re looking for ambiance in date night. Plenty of indoor ac space and a couple outdoor seating options too.

Ordered a Gyro bowl with extra chicken to go. Chicken was packaged separately which was fine. What was not fine was the fact that the chicken smelt a bit rotten and was lukewarm at an unsafe food temperature. Negligence like this causes food poisoning and risks exposure to salmonella. If you claim to be a cook and don’t know how to cook chicken and keep it at a food safe temperature please quit your job. You’re gonna kill someone with your lack of awareness. I would not even feed this food to my dog or someone I hate.
