I’m from Miami with Nicaraguan background and I gotta say. This food is as close as I can get to food from Miami that is Nicaraguan. I was super excited to eat my fav comfort food again after being in Indiana for 3 years. I will say that there are a few things that were a bit pricey like the carne asada (it being too burnt to my liking) and some of the soups(don’t know how big the soups are) but the shredded meat with rice and plantains or chicken tacos were definitely good, price was reasonable and the hospitality was great as well. Overall for me I will come back again
Only reason I didn’t give this place an overall 5 was for 2 reasons.
Carne asada looked burnt and dry for the price
No PLASTIC ACCEPTED
So for those who are looking for Nicaraguan food be ready to pay with either cash or Zelle

While the food isn’t of my culture, I came through with an open mind. Unfortunately the meat was overcooked for my liking, making it utterly impossible to chew on. You can tell some part were from the day before which is fine in my opinion, a lot of restaurants do that. I hope to see improvements the next time I visit.

Food was overpriced. I payed $65 for 2 steak dinners & everything was bland. They said they had sofrito added to the rice but was not. It didn’t have any flavor. Not trying to bash a small business but definitely wish I would’ve spent $65 dollars somewhere else. Service was good but the food wasnt

Super friendly service. Great decor and clean dining area. I had some enchiladas, they were super dry though. I really wanted to love this spot but it’s overpriced and just didn’t have the freshness or flavor to justify the cost.

The food was ok. My husband is from Nicaragua and we were excited to try this place. The prices are extremely over inflated for what you’re getting. The atmosphere wasn’t great. The music playing on the TV was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. The boob coffee cups at the register was extremely tacky and borderline offensive. I truly think there’s room for improvement. This place is new, so I don’t want to give a negative review, but definitely needs to improve. The waitresses are very kind.

Food was very tasty, i ordered a carne asada, which was very well condimented. And the gallo pinto was very good too. Portions are very fair for the price of the meal

Dissapointing. The food was bland and my pork very fatty, barely any meat. Too Expensive for what I got. The next door Mexican restaurant is way better and not too pricey. They only take cash eventough it says they accept card on the door.
