I had visited this place many times between 2017-2021. When visiting tonight we ordered from the American Chinese options (beef w/ broccoli and kung pow chicken). The beef was very pale, chewy, and flavorless. Everything was extra oily, which became the only taste for both dishes. The egg rolls were also oily and doughy. We think that was because the wrappers were too thick so they left them in longer to crisp up which they did not.
Overall this was a very different experience then I have had her in the past. Looking at the reviews on Google now, seem like a common theme for them in the last 10-12 months.

Food was “meh” bland. Oil overpowered the flavors. Vegetable fried rice was so dark that it was unappealing with no egg and very few finely chopped vegetables.

This place is fantastic! They have two menus: a traditional menu and an American menu. The menus themselves have lots of great options. The quality of the food is very good. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and it was perfect – honestly the best I’ve ever had. The fried rice was also delicious, and not too greasy. When the bill came, I was shocked at how inexpensive it was. The service was wonderful too – we had a very friendly and attentive waitress. I will definitely be coming back.

My first time ordering from this restaurant, and definitely my last. The food is not good at all, not sure how reviewers below actually like their food. I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken and Chicken Egg Foo Young…the sweet & sour sauce tastes nothing like it should, it’s EXTREMELY sweet! You actually taste sugar, and the sauce is textured. I tried eating the chicken without the sauce but it’s bland with zero flavor…you need sauce. The gravy for the egg foo young has a very unpleasant smell and taste as well, not sure what kind of gravy it is? I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had to this time because I literally can’t eat this food and just threw away $38.00. Chinese food is my favorite and this by far is the worst I’ve ever had.

So impressed! It is not an easy task to discover a Chinese restaurant that firstly does not utilize MSG, and secondly- is actually able to create a meal with low sodium! I called and a very kind young woman answered the phone. I asked if it was possible to have our dishes made low sodium and she said that would not be a problem at all. When I arrived back home with our lunch orders (great lunch special prices by the way!), they were truly low sodium!! I called them back to thank them for actually making a wonderful meal that was low sodium! The young lady was happy to instruct me to just ask before ordering and they are happy to do so! Gracious staff and we are so thankful for their accommodating our dietary requests! Thank you to the staff at Ni Hao!

Amazing experience!! Easy online order was read very fast for pick up food was fresh and so so so good! Large portions!! We ordered the combo lo mein got it spicy, the walnut chicken, and the four seasons. We got 2 free egg rolls too! Very pleased!

Ordered a shrimp lo mein combination (had with fried rice) & both were flavorless. Tasted mainly salty with a hint of soy sauce. Definitely would had recommended this place to anyone 1 year ago. Seems like food quality has gone down but service is usual.

Very welcoming take-out only place. The food is delish — the best Chinese in the Falls, by far!! Our favorites are sesame tofu with a side of steamed broccoli & carrots and beef with pea pods. Yum 🙂

I have ordered from this place lots of times and it was always great but today food was not even good!! I ordered beef with pea pods, the meat was so tough I could barely even eat it, my daughter ordered Bourbon chicken and she said it tasted strange, it’s not like how it’s supposed to taste like !! And the dipping sauce was not the right sauce for the Pot Stickers. My husband also said the food is not the same, he said it was not very good!! I think the only thing that was good was the spring rolls!!!!
