Tried for SDRW and was a delicious and well
Priced menu! Got the quzi and whole seabass! The baklava was some of the best I’ve ever tried and I lived in the Middle East! The fattoush, fire grilled shrimp and Beef borek were also very delicious. Will be back for sure!!

I was not too impressed with Ney Restaurant. The flavor tasted off to me, I was hoping for more spices but food tasted pretty bland. I didn’t like how the beef shawarma Tashreeb entree came with soggy Iraqi bread, that was my bad for not reading and understanding the description but it’s just not appetizing to me. The beef plate is huge and 2 or 3 people can easily share it. The lamb kebab plate – the meat was not good, again it lacked flavor and spices. The fries were basic and didn’t have any salt. I was expecting Mediterranean food which I love but this restaurant did not meet my expectations.

I had an incredible dining experience at Ney Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. The blend of traditional Iraqi cuisine with modern influences made for a truly unique experience. The ingredients were fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into each dish. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned, and the saffron-infused rice was the best I’ve had.

The bar selection was also impressive, with a great variety of spirits and cocktails that paired perfectly with the meal.

Overall, Ney Restaurant exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a cozy dinner spot or a place to explore new flavors, this is definitely a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!

Ney should be AYE! The food is excellent and the servings are ample. One entrée easily feeds two adults. But don’t let that stop you. The leftovers warm up nicely for a second meal. If you like a sweet mojito be sure to try the Arak Mojito, delicious! Don’t be afraid to ask for off menu favorites. I got a Kafta Kabob that was killer.

I, my husband and my daughter love this place. Daughter hooked on the lamb kabobs (I don’t blame her), I’m hooked on their amazing fattoush salad (I hope I spelled that correctly), and hubby and I both love their salmon tikka meal. The salmon is delicious of course, but I’ve never enjoyed rice so much! Beautiful dining area, clean beautiful bathrooms and such amazing service that they’re like family. Beautiful souls.

Been here many times and the food is always wonderful. The food is fresh and feels like you’re in a family restaurant. The only thing I could comment on is that service is slower, but thoughtful to reflect housemade dishes rather than pre-made standard American cuisine.

If you plan to visit, suggest slowing down for a moment to relax and enjoying a high quality delicious meal.

Absolutely delicious!!! We got the platter for 2, but it could easily feed 4! No Turkish coffee, but they did have a Turkish Coffee Martini, which was excellent! Everything was seasoned well, great service, ambiance was chill, a time was had! Definitely recommend!

AMAZING! New favorite place. It was empty on a Saturday evening? I couldn’t believe it bc the food was so good! The place is decorated very nicely and has a good vibe. They were playing pop/club hits from like the 2000’s-2010’s though, which was interesting, but I’m a millennial so I enjoyed it haha

We got the tzatziki and pita to start, and it had big chunks of cucumber and was so refreshingly delightful and the pita was pipin HOT, but soft and not burnt.

I got a wrap and my friend got the lamb and at first we thought his dish was pricey, but then it came out with a side of soup and rice and flatbread and we realized it was a great deal! The lamb shank was cooked to perfection, and also piping hot. The wrap was made from some filo dough type bread, which was exquisite. The side of pickled cauliflower and carrots were so unique, the yellow side also had curry flavor. I never had anything like it. I got truffle fries for a little extra $ and they were good, but I think I’ll just get regular fries next time bc they were thicker than I expected. Not quite steak fries, but definitely not thin fries. We were getting full halfway through our meal, so we got boxes so we could try dessert!

For dessert we got baklava and Turkish coffee ice cream. Both were also incredible! Thick layer of pistachio near the bottom of the baklava, and crispy dough on top with a side of vanilla ice cream, sooooo delicious. Turkish coffee ice cream had a deep roasted, but balanced flavor.

Service was excellent, but again there was only one other person in the restaurant, so there were 3 servers waiting on 3 people. Seriously cannot believe this place was nearly empty on the weekend during dinner! Loved every bite!

I am so happy I found a middle eastern restaurant so close to home! This spot is a hidden gem. They have dishes that are each uniquely seasoned and plated. I’ve been a personal fan of their spicy baba ganoush which they really had a good kick to so it’s actually spicy and it is served with tasty pita, the first batch was bit crispier than I prefer but second round was pillow soft and warm! So far I have tried their betyi which is essentially your choice of meat wrapped in lavash bread and cut into bite sized pieces topped with a delicious tomato sauce and served with yogurt. I got one with lamb one day and the other day sirloin. Both equally delicious! I also have to give them the award for best lentil soup in town! Man that soup is hearty and soooo flavorful! My aunt also gave them the award for best falafels! Typically you get falafel and it’s like a hockey puck! But not here, they’re soft and delish! Also they have one hell of a baklava and serve it sandwiched with ice cream! I failed to snap a pic because that thing lasted 0.3 seconds at our table before it was devoured. Definitely coming here whenever I crave middle eastern food.
