I came here with my family after visiting the aquarium. We are out-of-towners. From the food to the spectacular service from Ms. Candy we will most definitely be back. The food is authentic and everything is cooked in house. I’m not sure what I liked more, the AMAZING fresh sweet potato pie with the graham cracker crust or the perfectly crispy chicken wings, the jerk wings were amazing and the salmon was banging. The sides were 10/10. Mac and cheese, collard greens and cabbage. Even the French fries were perfect lol And again, Ms. Candy was a pleasant waitress and hostess, she was for sure the queen of the spot! Google only allows photos and I took videos of the meals, but pls enjoy the photo of the French fries haha

The service was horrible. Even trying to get a simple glass of water felt like pulling teeth. Every time we asked the waitresses for help, they all seemed to have attitudes. The staff didn’t come back to check on us at all, and it didn’t feel like a real restaurant experience because we constantly had to track someone down just to get basic service. It took a long time just to get water, and asking for a refill was even harder—with more attitude involved.
The place was also way too crowded, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. On top of that, the food took forever to come out.
The food was okay, but it was a little too salty for my taste. The mac and cheese was good, though. The atmosphere was just okay overall—it honestly felt more like a hole-in-the-wall spot than a welcoming restaurant.
I won’t be returning.

I ordered through a delivery service. The food arrived and was absolutely awful. I was not even able to eat it. The quality was terrible. The greens string beans were 2 different colors ( old mix with newer) the fried chicken was clearly sourced cheep and of poor quality.

Me and my bf ordered from uber eats, i asked for cabbage got greens instead, no biggie, i usually pick at my chicken bc i dont like eating veins or chicken that has blood on it but this day i was literally starving so i js ate it without looking but the next piece i tore apart bc i wanted to dip it in ranch, i saw a bunch of pink immediately thrown off. I thought it was js tht one piece but no all of them were like tht. My bf ate like 3 pieces before i told him we cant eat this we’re gonna get salmonella. Sure enough the entire day i had the runs, my stomach hurted nonstop even when i didn’t have to use the bathroom. Thankfully i got my money back from uber eats but this is very unsafe i strongly advise the kitchen to do better.
The greens were a 6/10 needs better seasonings and the mac was a 7/10 not too bad.

I was in there weekend of New Edition arriving downtown Baltimore. That food was soon good that I asked to see the chef to thank her for the delicious food!! They said everything was made fresh and they wasn’t lying!! I had the fried catfish, macaroni and cheese greens, and crab cake!! Everything was delicious. I left with some delicious sweet potato pie!!

I ordered via UberEats. I got the catfish platter with mac&cheese and greens and sweet potato pie. The catfish was DELICIOUS. The homemade tartar sauce was so nice and unique. The mac and cheese was interesting but the more I ate it the more I liked it. The greens were gross to me. I threw them away. Sweet potato pie had different flavors than I am used to but I also liked it. Overall I will order again but SKIP THE GREENS!

We have been coming here for over a year, and they have never let us down. The owners are friendly, the bands are awesome and Delvin always greets us with a smile,a joke, and makes sure we always have a great experience. And the food is out of this world! The seafood combo, Mac &cheese, and catfish fritters are great and always our go to meal!

We had the most lovely time by accident! We went for the scrumptious-looking soul food and ended up taking in a live band show that was extraordinary! The Caesar salad with shrimp was fresh and flavorful. My wife enjoyed the catfish and greens with mac and cheese. All accompanied by delicious sweet tea. Great service and good prices, too!

My husband and I just tried the catfish and wing platter for the first time today for lunch before a game at Camden Yards and it was so delicious we are currently on our way back to have it for dinner. 10/10 soul food spot. Would absolutely recommend if you’re in Baltimore.
