Went to Newk’s since it was the conveniently closest restaurant next to the Residence Inn where I was staying. Service was quick and friendly. The lobster bisque was not so great, a bit too salty and not very flavorful…I ordered the bowl rather than the cup size which was huge so it’s probably meant to be shared by 3 people. The spicy shrimp pizza was much better and something I would get again with its thin crunch crust and nice heat.

I’ve been going to Newks for years. They have great salads, soups, sandwiches, and pizzas. My favorite items are the Lobster Bisque and the Newks Q Pizza. They also have great dessert, try their caramel cake you won’t be disappointed.

Newk’s is one of my all time “go-to’s”. I don’t have one close to home (someone PLEASE open a Newk’s in Anderson, SC), so when there is one in a city I visit, a stop over is for certain.

We were staying in the area and found this place on our last day. Food was good, so was the price. I had the sandwich and half salad meal, my wife got the full salad, and they have a good kids menu that we got pizza for my daughter. Was pretty busy around lunch but they had enough staff to cover it. Guy bringing food out and cleaning tables was hustling and on top of it! Would eat here again. Total was about $35.

The customer service I received from Mattie went ABOVE AND BEYOND. She assisted me bc my order on the app wasn’t working and she is top tier customer service. So much so, I asked to speak to the manager and introduced myself, and just gave Mattie her flowers! Hang onto that young lady Newk’s! She is the example of excellent customer service! I will be back!! Kudos!!

Giving all 1 stars based on the lack of consistent cleaning happening at this store. The food is good, but delayed cleaning is a turnoff.
Someone REALLY needs to sweep the floor under/ by drink station, the to go pick up station, and underneath the cold station. I don’t think this area has been cleaned in a year or so.

Went Friday oct 3rd. I have not been in many years. It’s changed. The cashier did not offer me the rewards club. Got the number went to several tables. All of them were not cleaned. Food still on tables. Food on the floor. I went about 1:30 pm. No bus boy seen. I think it lost its appeal from when i went before.
