Good food is to plentiful not only your hunger but your soul too. This is what we, the Pizza & Pasta family, plan to do in Southeast Louisiana. We are bringing the story and evolution of Italian food with the taste of all the legions of Italy. Based on fresh ingredients of homemade pastas filled with love and desire for the Italian food. We take pride in the dishes we prepare and how we present our dishes. We have been doing this for generations. We are bringing our traditions and story to Southeast Louisiana in hopes that the community will embrace them with open arms.

First time visiting and we ordered a 1/2 and 1/2 large pizza, fried cheese, a slice of the stuffed pizza & of course a cannoli. I’d give this place a 10/10. The staff is super friendly and helpful. All the food was amazing but I highly recommend the stuffed pizza it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had!! This is our new favorite Italian spot.

We’ve been a couple of times for pizza and enjoyed it. Recently we went for dinner including the Mediterranean salad and spaghetti with meatballs. Pizza great as always. Salad was very unique and delicious! Spaghetti was disappointing. A pound of noodles with decent sauce and two meatballs that were definitely frozen/mass produced/not homemade. For $17 spaghetti it was a let down. We like this place but not sure if it is worth the money.

This is a wonderful spot. I’ve been here multiple times with my boyfriend, and the staff is always friendly and very attentive. I’ve gotten multiple different pasta dishes and pizzas and enjoyed them all. They have really good portion sizes, and you won’t leave hungry. I cannot recommend this spot enough!

Picked up 10” and 14” pizzas last night. The Quatro formaggi was the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had. I typically eat my pizza covered in pepper flakes, parm, and hot sauce. It would have been disgraceful to cover up the sharp cheesy flavor of the quatro if I had done that. 10/10 will come back for this pizza all by itself. The 14” pepperoni pizza was lack luster. It’s about what you can get from slitz and giggles. Like night at the bar, bite to eat to sober up sort of pizza. The restaurant is clean, the pizza was ready in 15 min. I did get an odd vibe from the lady that cashed us out. Maybe it was just an end of the night thing since it was 8pm. But she was very polite over the phone at least. One draw back is the pizza’s that are sold by the slice looked like they had been sitting there since opening. If we had wanted to try something else, those pizzas would not have sold us on venturing out. All in all, I’d go back for a whole cheese pizza, fresh and to-go.

If I could have 2 number 1 favorite restaurants in town, this would be my other choice. The food is exceptional, the service is always great, and it’s one of the most professional businesses I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining in. The owner has personally greeted me every time I’ve entered the building, and I feel welcome and comfortable when I’m there. They do a lot of carry out business, but take the time and dine in with them if you get a chance. Had their play on Tiramisu, very different presentation than most, get some, and try it. You won’t be disappointed.

LISTEN HERE AND LISTEN GOOD! Neal & I were on the hunt for some good new york style pizza and we are SO GLAD to have found such a GEM! New York Pizza and Pasta in baton rouge was MORE than a hit out of the park…. it was clean, DELICIOUS, and the owner was such a sweetheart! She served us personally, saw we were taking pictures and offered to get one for us. This pizza was TOP NOTCH. Little to no flop, perfectly charred but not burnt under carriage (one bite everyone knows the rules! )… it had excellent flavor and we will be back…often! Not to mention the pastas on their menu….from lobster ravioli to manicotti…what a dream! This service and experience was so much more than we expected and this small business deserves a PACKED restaurant!! Go check her out

I really wish I could give this restaurant more stars. Five just isn’t enough. I started looking for a place to serve pizza that wasn’t a chain like Domino’s, Papa John’s, or Pizza Hut. And this place popped up much to my delight. So the fam went for lunch and we got a 10-in meat lovers, an 18 in supreme and of course I had to try the house salad. I was kind of underwhelmed by the appearance of the tomato basil vinaigrette, but I was going to try it regardless. It was amazing! The pizza was the best I’ve ever had and I highly doubt I will be ordering from anyone except New York Pizza and pasta in the near future. This place is a gem. Seriously, you need to try this place. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is lovely. The wait staff is absolutely delightful and the food is outstanding. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their pasta dishes. I liked it so much I got another 18 in supreme to bring home to those family members who missed out on our lunch today. I would give this place 10 stars.
Update: Had to come back today and order dinner for the fam. Phenomenal as usual. Today we got a house salad (crisp and beautiful with their amazing house dressing), fried cheese (the marinara is so authentic it reminds me of the sauce my Italian uncle makes), spaghetti and meatballs (don’t even get me started on how heavenly delicious these meatballs are) and an 18″ meat lovers pizza. I’m in heaven!! Who needs olive garden when this little gem is hidden on Jones Creek?!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The staff were very friendly and professional. They keep a very clean entry and dining area. The food was SOOOOO GOOOD!!!. We got a stuffed pizza, and OMG!! Definitely will be going back.
