I’ve Lived in Korea for two years and this place is authentic! Took me right back to the PEN with the smells and tastes of Korean food. Highly recommend going out of your way to eat here! One plate is probably enough for two (with reasonable appetites) to eat family style.

although a bit pricey, the staff are very attentive, great food, very authentic and huge servings that it should be good for 2 people each meal.

This is a good little place if you’re in Newtown, Aiea or Pearl City. They’re right on Moanalua Rd. at the entrance to Newtown community mauka of an elementary school. Parking is free in their little lot.

We ordered the meat Jun, bbq pork and bbq beef. The meat jun was dry and a little bland. Had to drench it in sauce to get any flavor. The bbq beef and pork looked identical. Honestly wasn’t sure which was which and when we asked the waitress she was hesitant about it.

Over Priced. Kalbi no flavor, boiled basic not grilled. Fish jun no jun sauce. Vegetables not seasoned only blanched. $45 mandoo soup and kalbi , fish jun plate charged another $1 to separate mandoo to prevent soggy from delivery. plus hidden fees. Nothing spectacular

Prices are too high for the amount of food and taste was just ok. Staff wasn’t very friendly. Take out packaging was minimal and vegetables in the plate we portioned in ketchup cups. Don’t recommend.

Authentic mom and pop Korean food, wide variety of Korean dishes, you can choose spiciness but be careful of what you wish for, as with other restaurants, pandemic pushed up prices alot but still worth the money, try seafood and vegetable tempura combo and seafood chighe (stew)
