I ordered chicken wings and was asked if I wanted naked or breaded wings I never had a Chinese restaurant ask me that I guess I should of said naked I thought Chinese chicken wings only had one option anyways the wings weren’t good with all that extra breading and the general tso chicken was way too salty never again ! Ugh it’s hard to find good Chinese in Florida foreal very disappointed after spending $22

The food was at most average. The only thing that tasted good was the egg roll. The wonton soup barely had wontons in it but a lot of other stuff.

Nastiness Chinese food in fort Lauderdale. Yuck Food is overpriced and not good at all. I’m surprised they’re still doing business.

I normally don’t write reviews but after my experience with New Mainland China I had to let the internet know. I was in the area craving some sesame chicken so I decided to give this place a shot. I also ordered the Singapore noodles. Both were unbelievable. This is a family owned golden nugget off Oakland. The best spots are always the ones you would least suspect. Husband and wife do the cooking and it shows. Both are originally from China and have been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone reading this who is hungry. Bring your appetite!

I am a New Yorker living in Fort lauderdale. I’m actually from Long Island New York and will probably say that we have some of the best food anywhere. I moved to Fort Lauderdale 25 years ago and I’ve spent most of that time here. There’s lots of good food in South Florida but the Chinese food has never come close to what I’m used to in New York. I have finally found a place with good food! Excellent food! I was extremely impressed with the general tso’s chicken combination meal. The fried rice at this place offers is literally better than any fried rice I’ve ever had in my life. Enjoy

Tried many Chinese/Asian restaurants in the area, and New Mainland China is by far the BEST! I’ve tried many items and all have been delicious and always reasonably priced. New Englanders would enjoy the fried rice. It has flavor, good ingredients, and not just coloring like so many other places.

I’ve been struggling to find Chinese food that’s similar to the northeast since I’ve moved here. I found one place, but once they sold to new owners it’s hit or miss. I was hesitant to try new mainland based on location, but glad I did. The food has been consistently delicious.

I ordered here for the 1st time last night. Delicious, Flavor! I literally want to try everything on their menu now. It was so good. I tasted flavors and spices that I havent since eating Chinese food from my home country – Jamaica (little known secret Jamaican chinese food is Fire ) But seriously it was yummy yummy yummy, I had honey chicken and special chow mein with pork fried rice. I’m fighting myself not to order this 2 days in a row…lolol

Omgoodness idk how this place got 4.7 rating!!! Where do I begin…1st time ordering and yuck from the ribs drenched in sauce when I ordered “very light sauce” I think it was to hide its non-freshness, the pork fried rice just tried 1/2 tspoon was 1/2 cooked and taste like plastic—plus they had old pork and new pork pieces in it, and the wonton in the soup was stale and hard plus it had shredded lettuce in it instead of the scallions…and they knew too because they reimbursed me fully. never again! one last thing…even the crispy noodles were stale!
