We ordered for the first time for takeout after several recommendations. Unfortunately, we had an awful experience. We called to place our order and successfully picked it up. But after about 15 minutes, the restaurant called us to let us know they missed two dishes – one being a soup and another a vegetable dish. We were too far at that point to go back. Then, when I started eating my main meal, which was a chicken chow mein, I discovered there was no chicken in it.
I called the restaurant to try to get a sense of what happened, but it was extremely difficult to speak with them as they did not seem to understand what I was saying (they thought I was trying to order something for the first five minutes of the conversation). Then they proceeded to convince me that we never ordered chow mein, we ordered egg noodles. I’m not sure how you can mix up chow mein with egg noodles.
On the bright side, what we did end up getting actually tasted fine. But we paid $50 for two main dishes and two small sides. Will not be going back and do not recommend.

First Time and last time. Worse Chinese food in Durham. Chicken was bland, the beef was rubbery. Ordered 4 meals and not one of us enjoyed it. Waste of $80. Thanks for nothing

This place was decent before but not anymore. I ordered chili chicken based on one of the reviewers who wrote good things about it but wow…the chili chicken that I had was more like salt chicken. So salty and our family did not taste any chili. Their rice noodle with beef in black bean sauce looked and tasted like left over Chinese food. The noodle strands were all cut up in pieces and munched up together. No flavour at all in the noodles which makes the hot sauce packet necessary except they try their best NOT to give you the hot sauce packets. The dishes are not exactly cheap either. I get that businesses have to charger higher with the food price going up but with the higher prices, they should look to keep the quality of the food up. I’m spending my hard earned money as well and my money will not be going toward this restaurant anymore.

We ordered from here for the very first time and it did not disappoint. The food here is cooked fresh and to perfection. We ordered the house fried rice and the curry chicken. Both tasted great with a lot of flavour. The owner and their staff are super friendly and were very helpful. Will surely be back to try other stuff on the menu.

Our go-to Chinese food! Food is always tasty and great – lots of options on their menu. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait during peak hours but have had no issues when ordering in advance.

Wonderful lady at the front. She took my order and noticed that I was just going over emails in my car. When the order was done sooner than expected, she got my attention instead of having me wait and come back inside. Friendly every time I visit. Good is consistently good. I come back here because the food is good.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food. They’re always efficient and food, very tasty. I ordered Dinner for 7 for my son’s party at Skyzone and it fed more than 10ppl…we even had leftovers. My only negative I would say is that after eating, you feel very bloated and thirsty…kinda dehydrated, must be the high Sodium used when cooking this delicious meal. I don’t eat here often, (maybe once a year)but when I do, it’s great!
