My wife and I had lunch here yesterday and it was an awesome experience. Lot’s of food choices arraigned nicely and was very good and tasty. The food was hot and fresh and the employees watch over the buffet to ensure everything is looking good and well stocked. The sushi is very good with lots to choose from. We went in about 2:15 pm to eat lunch and stayed till around 3:00pm, that’s when the dinner time starts and the food changes. The next time we go here to eat I’m going for the dinner. At dinner they have cooked crab, crab boil, breaded shrimp, oysters, and all of the good things you would expect to see at a casino or some higher end restaurant.

Overall: very good, fresh food and friendly service. We’ve been twice now, for a mid-week dinner and a Saturday lunch. Both featured fresh sushi and sashimi, fresh seafood (including crab legs,) and fresh ingredients for a Mongolian-style stirfry, plus a fresh salad bar.
Items in the hot bar are replaced frequently. Dishes are well seasoned, and don’t all taste the same. The highlight of lunch on Saturday was their Cajun Seafood Boil.
There were some plates in the stack that hadn’t been cleaned completely by their dishwasher. Occasionally, we’ve had to wait for drinks, or remind someone about them when they’re getting busy.
For the price, it’s hard to beat the variety, or freshness, of New China Buffet.

Crab was rancid and smelled like it was rotting. When we told the waitress she just gave us a nasty look and did nothing. We talked to the host and he apoligized after we showed him the picture. After this she brought us our check immediately and tried to get us out. If you want good food and service, this is not your place.

The food selection looked great, but the food did not taste all that good. It was edible. The service was alright but the cashier yelled at another person in a different language for a while, it was awkward and it was very unprofessional. Waiter was great but over all it was a 5/10 wont go again.

My husband and I drove from Albany to Corvallis to go here. Everything was delicious. All the food was hot and fresh. The sushi was fresh as well. The servers were smiling and friendly. I would definitely go back again. In fact, I very much look forward to it!
