I really love this place… EVERYTHING is made to order hot and fresh… and the prices are very reasonable. The waitress, although by herself, zips around very efficient and remembers faces and what we like to order. I eat at no other Chinese restaurant but this one and I live in Aurora. And another thing, you get your money’s worth, trust and believe that. When I take my leftovers home my daughter eats it all cold and says it taste so good why waste time heating it up. Next time I come I will get pics.

The food wasn’t bad, it was just extremely basic. The fried rice was just white rice, apparently fried in soy sauce. Good fried rice has egg or vegetables/green onion to add color and flavor; to spruce it up. Not with this cook.
The beef broccoli was okay, just very basic and blah. The beef was meh. Very uninspired.
The restaurant itself was comfortable, clean, and inviting. The staff was polite and attentive. My total for lunch special and soup was $19.55. I don’t think it was worth that.

I was quite skeptical upon seeing the reviews at first. A lot of 1 star and unhappy reviews. When I actually got a chance to go to the resturant, I did not regret it one bit. I ordered the Chicken Lomein and the Hot & Sour soup. The Chicken Lomein was absolutely tasty, not too bland or salty. Just the right amount for satisfaction. The Hot & Sour soup did not disapoint. It had good texture and good taste. The salty umnami flavor combined with a suttle sour taste. The cost in total was a banger for a buck. The dinner size lomein portion was absoulutly large. All that for about 17-18 dollars. This is highly underated resturant, I would 10/10 come back again!

Didn’t eat in here publicly. I’ve grown up with this restaurant really close by, it used to be incredible. The food used to be delicious, I don’t know what has happened within the past 2 years but I have noticed a dramatic drop in quality. I’ve ordered orange chicken with fried rice two times within the past year, I got food poisoning both times. I’ve never had food poisoning in my life and I’m not a very picky eater but I used to love their orange chicken it was the perfect amount of spice and flavor and now I’m not even sure if it’s real chicken… Then I decided after about 6 months maybe 7 that I would try it again tonight thinking that maybe something had changed for the better but wow was I wrong. I tried something new, I got the curry chicken both me and my mother got curry chicken and both of us said the same thing. “It’s full of peppers and onions but barely any chicken.” And I need you absolutely FULLL of peppers and onions. Barely any sauce, I saw maybe 7-10 little dinky pieces of chicken in the dish and they charged $17?!?!? Such a disappointment once again. We both agree we will never go here again to eat. The staff seem nice, the food is just such a disappointment every time. The last three times have all been a nightmare. It almost feels like stealing money at this point. Thumbs 0/5 stars for food quality. The only decent food was the crab cheese wontons and egg rolls.

The staff was friendly and the food was good. The crab cheese wontons were light and crispy. The orange beef was good, but the extra spicy chili oil overpowered the dish. Skip the extra spicy and go for straight flavor.

Have eaten New Canton for an incredibly long time (15 years) and something has happened to them. Ordered take out and the food was basically not edible. Pad Thai was definitely not pad thai and the fried rice was completely different as well. Sad that this long time wheat ridge establishment has changed so much.

This place had the worst chinese food I have ever had. I ordered a sweet & sour chicken. They took the leftovers and put them back in the fryer. The meat was all dried out. And the coating on the outside was soggy. I called to complain and they didn’t offer to do anything. It was a $70.00 meal.

Sesame chicken was AMAZING;
Szechuan chicken – not so much. Had no taste whatsoever.
Hot-n-sour soup was alright, Egg drop soup was good though.

I read all the reviews before coming. But I’ll be honest I’ve had a horrible experience with the food, here. but only the food, the staff and the restaurant was nice. The problem I experienced was I ordered Pad Thai with chicken. There was a large portion of just noodles but there was only 2 small slices of chicken? It also tasted really really bad. I’ve never had a bad Pad Thai before but there must have been a mistake when it was made. I really wanted to like the food. But I paid 40$ for one dinner (minus the chicken) an appetizer and a small entree. One of the more expensive restaurants. Definitely not worth the 40$ that might not be a ton of money to some, but as momma it’s a lot of money to spend to be not be able to eat the food. Because I ordered to go, there was nothing I could do to fix it. I didn’t know it was bad tell I was home… will not be coming back. If you order to go I suggest trying it before leaving then maybe they can fix it, if there is issues

We’ve dined at New Canton for maybe a year now. Historically, their food has been real good, large portions and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, tonight, meal was a disaster. The Pad Tai was made with a red Italian sauce. ???? Don’t know what that’s about. My wife’s cashew beef looked beautiful, but lacked flavor. ???? Very disappointed!
