Really
Hands-down, the best seafood in the area!
I ordered the low country boil, the special of the day… crab legs, and the brussels sprouts (which was delicious!). I could not eat all my food in one sitting, so I took it home. But I was there for a while, because that’s how much food there was. What I ordered could definitely be for two people, but let’s be honest, I was not sharing!

Also, my server was so nice and attentive. She made sure I had everything I needed and had the vibe of “knowing her customers.” I hate that I’m moving because I would be here every other week. And it’s such a great place to watch a game at the bar as you eat.

I stopped in toward the end of the evening while they were still open for about another 45–50 minutes. When I first walked in, several people looked at me but no one greeted me. I eventually had to ask someone where the restroom was. After coming back out, I still waited several minutes before being seated. It seemed like the staff was already starting their closing and cleaning routines, which may have contributed to the delay.

Once I was seated, someone came over and took my drink order, and shortly after a new server came over to take my food order. He was much friendlier, and from that point forward the service really started to improve.

I ordered the grouper nuggets and the lump crab stew. The stew was absolutely fantastic rich, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. I would honestly come back just for that alone.

Overall, a bit of a slow start with the welcome and seating, but the food especially the crab stew was excellent and made the visit worthwhile.

My husband had the grilled mahi-mahi and I had the fried shrimp platter. My husband also ordered an appetizer of the char-broiled oysters which he said were fantastic. Everything was delicious. Our server Taylor was friendly and attentive . She checked on us often to see if we needed anything. We will definitely come back.
Note: we had already been eating on the platters before we took the pictures!!

The food was so good the place should be packed. I had grouper over cheesy grits. Amazing. Had sausage chunks. Wife had fried grouper sandwich. Much more reasonably priced but very good. Not fishy at all. Taylor was a great server, friendly and attentive.

Ordered the Char broiled oysters, they were great. My wife had fried shrimp that were really good as well. I had the grilled wahoo over bed of rice with mango chutney, very good. The waitress Taylor was very good, attentive, and checked on often.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it won’t be my last! As soon as I walked in I was seated. there was no wait time. The shrimp po boy was excellent! There was a generous amount of shrimp fried to perfection and the bread was very soft. The ovsters were good as well! My waitress Becky provided me with a high level of customer service.

Five stars, without hesitation.

Tonight was one of those happy accidents where you stumble into a restaurant and leave wondering how on earth you didn’t know about it sooner.

One of my friends was literally in the middle of a move — as in, driving from Florida to Indiana — so arrival times were… ambitious. I got there first, grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered oysters and a cocktail, and immediately felt taken care of. Taylor, the bartender, was warm, patient, and genuinely kind. She told me she’d continue to take care of us once everyone arrived, and she meant it.

She moved me to a table in the back room so I could wait comfortably, and wait I did. One group showed up an hour later, the other almost two hours later. I was in that restaurant for three hours, never once made to feel like I was overstaying my welcome. Taylor served us the entire time with a smile and a great attitude, and it felt sincere — not performative hospitality, the real thing.

The manager also stopped by our table to check in, which honestly says a lot. When leadership shows up and takes the time to connect, it shows in the service, the atmosphere, and the way guests are treated. All of the staff were genuinely friendly and seemed to really care about their customers.

And the food absolutely delivered. Everyone ordered something different and every plate was a hit. The lobster roll was outstanding. Stuffed flounder was spot on. Grouper sandwich was exactly what you want it to be. The ahi tuna was delightful. Gator tail…yum. Conch fritters? Yes, please — more of those. On top of that, they had homestyle sides like collard greens and green beans that tasted like real, honest cooking. Fresh seafood, comfort food, done right.

This was my first visit, and I didn’t even know this place existed before tonight. I will happily drive 45 minutes to come back — and I will be back. Great food, exceptional service, and the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while.

After a week of two truly disappointing dining experiences where the food and service did not match the price tag, I was honestly this close to swearing off dining out altogether (mostly kidding… but not really). Tonight completely restored my faith. Thank you, thank you, thank you for reminding me what good service, good food, and genuine hospitality are supposed to feel like.

It was the perfect way to send my best friend of almost 20 years on her new journey to Indiana.

Highly recommend.

Best fish in the Jax area. We had a grouper stuffed with crab and shrimp and grits. The food and portions were excellent. Fish was the flavored with Olde Bay and cooked perfectly. My wife said the best grits she ever had. Will definitely be going back next time in Jax.
The blue drink is a shark bite.

Great customer service. I went for the 60 cents oysters on a Wednesday. The oysters were very fresh but I wish they were saltier. That’s my personal preference, but I still had two dozen! The restaurant and restrooms are very clean and comfortable.
