New Asian Taste was absolutely wonderful! The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The staff was kind, quick, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. And the food — truly some of the best I have ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they serve. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing meal!

Id give a 4.8 if I could. The food and service were absolutely top notch, the young man in the front answered all my questions and was knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. I got the beef pad thai and a thai iced tea, with tip it was about 25$. portion wise it was great. I got enough meat and noodles that ill be able to eat it for lunch tomorrow as well. I was a bit disappointed that there was not much sauce in the noodles, they were all covered in it but there was no extra in the bottom of the container. Not a big deal as it was delicious regardless! Sorry for the photo I had already eaten a good amount before I thought to take it lollll

Area inside has tables with removable chairs and a wide enough aisle to accommodate a wheelchair or walker easily.

When I saw the portion sizes, I was instantly irritated with how much I paid. HOWEVER, this was with having the assumption they were on par with all the other Asian restaurants around here. They are not. The food is not even in the same realm as all the other Asian restaurants. This was hands down the best orange chicken I have ever had, and the black pepper beef and teriyaki chicken were incredible. We ordered three meals, and it fed 6 people, so the price ended up being very reasonable. Typically, restaurants heap on the rice, rather than the protein, and this place does not. You get just the right amount, and the sauce is perfect. Probably the most outstanding part of this experience was that they use real chicken/beef. I will not eat Asian food anywhere else going forward.

12/2/24 Return Update:
Opportunity for improved service – I felt a little under appreciated. I came in before another couple and was served much later. It seems like the other couple were friends of sorts. Either way I’m taking time from work to eat lunch here. Help me feel valued please. Service may loose a star for this plus the fact that the billing is confusing and seems almost sketchy. The prices on the menu have been hand modified several times plus there is a random 4% “surcharge”?? Food is very good. I enjoyed the Malaysian Chicken Noodle Stir Fry and mini egg rolls. Total was $15.80 with all fees and 15% tip. I don’t mind spending a little more on quality, but I want to understand how much my choices will impact my tab before ordering.

2/3/24: Decent local Asian food. I will definitely come back. The crab Rangoon’s are definitely made here from scratch. Nice thin dough very sweet cheese could use a lot more crab. See picture. Enjoyed the Malaysian Chicken Fried Rice was flavored well and not sweet at all, which is a nice more authentic taste for the area.

If you want flavor filled Asian food look no further. This place is the best in Battle Creek if you want good food packed with flavor and heat. Unlike the other Asian restaurants in Battle Creek MI where the Kung poa tastes just like their General Tso’s, this place has dishes that all have their very own unique delicious flavor. This place is small and convenient. Great for takeout and dine in. I do wish they offered fountain drinks with free refills because of you order anything spicy that is exactly what you are going to get. Friendly staff, I highly recommend this place. Support this small business Battle Creek we can’t offord to lose any more gems.

I’ve ordered here a few times now, and I always get the Chicken pad Thai, and it is absolutely divine. It’s cheap, they give you a lot, even though I noticed the last time I ordered they didn’t give me as much, but it’s still a lot of food. Most definitely worth it. First time I ever ordered here I got that along with the Singaporean Noodles, and they weren’t my favorite, I didn’t think they had a lot of taste but that could also just be my palette for things more rich in flavor. Either way I love this place, and whenever somebody asks me about a place to eat in Battle Creek, I suggest this place and tell them about the amazing pad Thai.

I agree with most of the reviews that you will read for New Asian Taste. Yes, there’s a variety of dishes. Yes, the vegetables are fresh and cooked or steamed to perfection! Yes, the dining room is pretty plain. However, you wont come here for the paint colors. Once you taste their food you will become a regular here and you won’t care about anything else! It’s so delicious and flavorful! The balance of sweet and salty and spicy has been amazing during the many times I’ve already been there! On second thought, DON’T go there – because I really want to keep this unassuming gem for myself and my family!

Honestly… you need this in your life!! My wife and I love eating here. The food is excellent and the customer service is great! I get the Lo Mein with beef and my wife gets the chicken curry with a side of rice. She also likes to get the Tom Yum soup with shrimp. Not many places can do Tom Yum soup well but New Asian Taste does! Side note, my wife likes to sub out the noodles for rice with her soup… Anyways, I highly recommend! (Pics of the curry and Lo Mein)

Born and raised in Southern California and we are used to having a huge variety of food in each corner.

I am so glad to have found this restaurant here in Battle Creek! I’ve tried 4 different entrees and I loved them all! My favorite so far is the chicken curry.

The owners are honest hardworking people who really care about the quality of the food! I would recommend this place to anyone! There’s not a lot of local restaurants I would recommend.

If you are reading this review I highly recommend you give it a try! You won’t regret.

We have always enjoyed this food, but we ordered two meals and were told 15 minutes. My husband arrived and waited close to an hour. Neither order was correct and when I called they really did not offer any explanation and the food that we did get was not good. Very disappointing that the customer service was poor. I love to eat local but will have to wait awhile to return to this place or recommend it to others.
