My Thai is a family run restaurant established in 2011 in the picturesque and historic town of Sandwich, Kent. The restaurant offers authentic Thai dishes prepared by genuine Thai chefs with decades of experience in preparing oriental food. All of our dishes are cooked fresh to order, including starters. We have a special, modestly priced lunch menu, a range of desserts, home-made and otherwise. We also have an extensive wine menu as well as providing cocktails, spirits, beer and soft drinks. The ambience in the restaurant is relaxed and friendly. We have a very definite family ethos and hope to make every guest who visits us feel like a part of the My Thai family.

**Vegetarians Beware**

Sadly, most of the items listed on the menu as vegetarian have fish in them and cannot apparently be made without. This is the first Thai restaurant we have been in where this has been a problem.

Our meat-eating friends had a feast. My wife and I had rice, plain noodles and some stir fried veg. They don’t have a curry on the menu without fish in it and can’t make Pad Thai without fish in it.

A disappointing meal.

If you are a vegetarian, take your group elsewhere.

Very noisy atmosphere. We were seated in a corner facing the walls. Waiters were very rude and impatient. They charged us 4 pounds too much, and got a blank receit. Do not eat here unless you REALLY like Thai food. Not recommended.

Very slow service took over almost an hour to get the starters and over an hour to get the mains, I ordered pork Pad Thai, I was given chicken and when I told the waitress she said no that’s pork, I’m not stupid and can tell the difference. The chicken Pad Thai was nice but not what I ordered.

Amazing tasty food, staff were friendly and recommended great dishes to try. The red Thai duck curry was amazing.
