First time stopping on our way to Roger’s Arkansas. It smelled soo good walking in! It’s a Big place overall, bakery like in the back, so many yummy options it was hard to choose! We will be back even with the 3 hour drive!

Don’t pass this place up when at the cheese house. The bread and cookies looked amazing! The pre-made meals may have joined my basket with the pies. The pies are awesome. Real crust , solid crust, and great fillings. Fantastic!

The smell of fresh bread had me at the front door. A variety of loaves to choose from. White, jalapeno, wheat, chocolate covered peanuts. So many choices to pickup for stocking stuffers. The best

Very busy country store with all kinds of delightful products. There are tasting stations! The bakery is connected to the main store but you have to checkout before you return to the main store and you can’t enter the bakery with unpurchased items from the main store.

We ordered 3 pies. Apple and raisin were very good. The pecan pie however was unacceptable. It did not set properly. As you can see, it’s even missing pecans. My family had purchased from here many times and this is the first time we have a received a sub par product. What’s more disappointing is that either no one checked before sending the pie , or someone did and didn’t care. Either way , a very disappointing experience.

Once a year we make a pilgrimage to Nettie Anne’s to stock up on favorites. Being from Pennsylvania near Amish country, the familiarity of their bakery goods creates a yearning to keep coming back for more.
The Amish cook the old fashioned way without preservatives and from scratch.
Woopie Pies with their light creamy filling unlike most you find manufactured around the country is a must for us. They sell out quickly so its best to call a day ahead to make an order. We also find various sugar free cookies and baked goods like banana nut bread to bring home and freeze for later.
When you pickup breads and rolls you can feel the difference between the fresh baked and store bought. I noticed some of the breads were tagged for discounts so you know if its fresh or a day or 2 old.
A freezer displayed desserts to take home and serve later with a nice variety of selections. Located in the same building with Amish Cheese House, they are separate businesses but connected.
If you like fresh bakery foods, make this a stop if passing through Chouteau.
