We love this restaurant! It’s the only restaurant we trust for good pasta. Their Linguine Nero is a meal of dreams, and it’s a staple on their menu. We also love their focaccia. Their menu changes so it’s fun to try their new items. Great restaurant for celebrations and the service is top notch.

My husband and I recently had a stellar dinner at Nesso. The environment was beautiful and comfortable. The service was flawless with a great flow – we didn’t feel rushed or forgotten and were in that sweet spot of perfect attention. And the food was incredible. My favorite was the burratta appetizer with roasted baby heirloom tomatoes. It was honestly the best thing I’ve eaten in a couple years, as the flavors of the tomatoes, burratta, pesto and candied balsamic onions blended in a perfectly balanced symphony of deliciousness. Everything was delicious, and my scallops were perfectly cooked, which was a real treat here in landlocked Indiana. Finally, they comped my husband’s dessert in celebration of his birthday, which was a classy move. What a great night!

As someone who is a little bit skeptical of the food scene at Indianapolis, I was pleasantly surprised by this Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown. Not only was the service great, the spritz collection vast, and the menu diverse of surf and turf options- The Italian dishes were rich and delicious in a nuanced way compared to other Italian places I’ve been to. Honestly, me and my coworkers were surprised by just how good the food was for being an Italian place. Nowadays, it feels that the Italian category is overplayed and derivative, if not just lacking- however, it felt that Nesso definitely was an Italian restaurant that really knew what they were doing, and the food was telling of their experience and quality. I would definitely come back next time I’m in town for work. I really enjoyed my linguini Nero, everybody was packed with flavor and they didn’t skimp on the seafood. The lemon ricotta donuts were also a table hit, tiramisu did not miss, and the pistachio gelato was a plenty for only five dollars.

Even the fly at the hotel (I don’t even know how it got there) flew hundreds of meters to try to land on my pasta. I told it no, this is mine, it’s too good to share!!! I wish I had more room in my stomach to eat their donuts or pistachio, but I guess that means I’ll need to come back.
Seriously, if you were on the fence for Nesso, this is the love letter you needed to see. It had be thinking I was at a seaport city!!

Made reservations and visited on a Wednesday right as they opened at 5pm. There was a Pacer game but that didn’t seem to affect parking in the garage or restaurant crowding.
Service was speedy and consistent. Our server was very personable and accommodating as we were not wanting to be around the area too long and he graciously boxed our orders quickly.
The focaccia bread starter is a must-have, and the scallop risotto was the best I’ve had in a restaurant for sure!
Fried calamari and artichoke (frito misto) were as described. Not sure I’d order it again but if you’re a fan of such things it is executed well.
Decor and colors were pretty neutral and non offensive. Soft music in the background was suitable.
We will definitely return to explore more of the menu.

We visited for my niece’s birthday (she wanted fancy and pasta) and Nesso delivered! Some of the best customer service, the staff went above and beyond to make this a special night. Food was excellent!

Food was great. Appetizers were great meatballs and bruschetta. Had the Chicken – was about an a 8. Teramusi was heavy in chocolate but good. Drink with Lemonchello was awesome. Service was good atmosphere was OK just wasn’t a total five star. The server did a great job serving. Would say, though most of the food was very very good.
