So much ice cream! My mom and I each got a child size serving in a cup and neither of us could finish. Child size comes with two flavors. Mom got rum cherry and salted caramel cold brew. I got pirates booty and moose tracks. All the flavors were good. We both loved the cherry flavor the best.

Skip Dairy Queen. This place is amazing! They have generous portions, a helpful staff, and excellent prices! I ordered a child size waffle cone and it was the largest ice cream order in my entire life. Bring Cash!! Cash only establishment, there is an ATM within the building.

We went for a walk a couple weeks ago and I thought of checking how close we were to Stillwater to get ice cream. For my surprise, Nelson’s ice cream had another location in Saint Paul and it was just a couple minutes away from where we were. It worked out perfectly!!!

Good lord this might be the best bang for your buck ice cream spot in the Twin Cities. As of this review the child size is 5.50 and had about 3 heaping scoops in it. Tons of flavors to choose from. Just be ready for a wait in line and have cold hard cash.

My husband is a huge fan of blue moon flavored ice cream and this is one of the few places that consistently has it! The variety of flavors is great, the pricing is good for how much you get and the service was also quick and friendly. Unpopular opinion to the rest, the amount of ice cream is just too much. ♀️ We almost immediately had a melted ice cream mess on our hands so definitely needs to be eaten there and not on the road. Bring somebody to share with and don’t forget your cash because it’s cash only.

Delicious ice cream and amazing prices. Our family was very surprised at how much ice cream the staff at Nelson’s ice cream scoop up for each order. We made the small mistake of ordering ice cream for each family member. It was a lot of ice cream! After we sat down, we noticed that most groups ordered one or two ice cream cups at the most, and would share them with the whole family. What a wonderful place to go and enjoy quality ice cream for a very reasonable price.
