The food was rich and tasty, definitely could have used more meat in the burrito. I got my drink 1/4 sweet which was perfect for me.
Have high chairs for little ones. Do have to bus your own table.

I like the iced latte, especially the Pandan one. I’ve always wanted to try the Coffee Flight! Ube mochi is huge, and breakfast plates are delicious but a bit pricey. Since you have to order before grabbing a seat, there may be a wait during busy lunch hours, especially on the weekend.

Strawberry matcha was absolutely FOUL. I’ve had hundreds of matchas so it’s not like a first time taste. The consistency was so thick with clumps like a smoothie, not sweet and barely any strawberry flavor even with so much at the bottom before I mixed it. It was just a strange consistency and bad taste, big waste of $9.

Came here for the first time and it was so so good! It was mother’s day so it was busy. They had a DJ playing old school music which was awesome. The service was pretty good. We got 2 coffees, fried lumpia balls and a chop cheese sandwich. Everything tasted amazing. The Barista somehow didn’t make 1 of our coffees but was very sweet and just made us another. Definitely will be visiting in the near future because the rest of their menu looks so good !
Update- came again and sat this time…around brunch time. Got a flight and it was great. The chicken fried steak was really good-gravy is amazing. My plate initially came out kind of cold… so I asked for it to be re-heated but they brought me a brand new one which was nice. My wife got the Uber biscuits very tasty. My friend got a bunch of different things and it was all good. Definitely got the lumpia balls again!

I was looking for a brunch place to take and impress an out-of-state visiting sibling. She suggested Jollibee , but I insisted on this place. I love Neighborhood Cafe with its unique and tasty dining experience, combining tiered Filipino breakfast with Vietnamese-Filipino coffee flights. Happy to report that my sibling is impressed and my other out-of-state siblings well, jealous of our meals. Please open a branch up north, specifically in Lynnwood or anywhere close to PAE.

There isn’t a whole lot of Filipino restaurants out here…but this place definitely represents. And in such a fresh and modern way. I admit, when I got up to order, I still didn’t know what I wanted because it all sounded good; but the long line behind me made me just spit out whatever I saw! I regret not getting the longinisa and I didn’t know about the coffee flight!
We ended up getting the Neighborhood Plate with bacon and the House Hash. So yummy! The garlic fried rice was the perfect amount of “garlicky”. The eggs perfectly made. The Hash I felt could’ve been seared a little more. There was a lot of pork belly, though! But maybe could’ve been chopped up smaller. There wasn’t as much sear to any of the ingredients, so it all seemed one note; I couldn’t tell between a potato or the pork belly but sure enough, it had a lot of flavor!
We got the Ube latte and the black sesame latte… I’ve never heard of that so I was excited to try it. And it was delicious! Subtle but just enough black sesame flavor and not too sweet! And the ube latte, yummmmm!!
They were out of the fried lumpia balls 🙁 but got the Ube biscuits. Some may say it is dry, but love the crunch. Just enough ube flavor and that butter that comes with it?!? Sooo yum! I asked for a to-go container for it. It was like kettle-corn made into a butter!
I am definitely coming back to try more things next time!!

We dined in on the patio out front. We ordered the busog burrito, ube pancakes, and lumpia balls. We also got the leche flan tea and the black sesame latte. The food was all amazing, the tea was a little sweet for me but it was my husband’s and he loved it. The black sesame latte was great. I was super impressed with the ube pancakes because I’m not normally a big pancake person, and they were delicious. We had our little dogs on the patio with us and they offered up pupcups for them, which was super sweet and they loved. The inside didn’t look overly comfortable, the outside was as comfortable as expected with the usual metal chairs and bench. It would have been awesome to have a table umbrella out there, because the sun’s glare on the table was harsh, but I think most people probably choose to dine inside. Overall, we would definitely go again.

It’s a good place to get a Vietnamese/Filipino fusion sort of food and beverages. Did not try their breakfasts so I can’t comment on those. The fried lumpia balls had too much coating and not enough filling, so that wasn’t really impressive. The pandan latte was okay, so was the hot chocolate.

This place serve awesome breakfast. We ordered the Neighborhood plate with Beef. We call this TAP-Si-LOG in Filipino. Consisting of TAP for Tapa which is marinated beef, Si for sinangag which is garlic fried rice and LOG for itlog which is fried eggs. Cha and Yonas were great servers and they talked and accommodated us even if they were super busy. We had a great time.

It’s just okay. They have one good rice plate which is the Neighborhood Plate. We’ve tried so many other things to try and see if there are other menu items that will be good, but they all just fell flat and bland. I also don’t like when places use Ube all over their menu, but you can’t even taste the Ube. I think people are just trying to join the “Ube hype” but it doesn’t even taste like it. Anyway, hopefully it will get better. The lattes are good though!

I am Filipino, too! So when I see Ube, I really want to taste it – that’s all. Just sharing my own personal experience and as a customer that have purchased several times from here because I support the small businesses. Take care!
