We came to Neguess first time today and We’ve tried so many Haitian restaurants in NJ but never great. But when we came here we are finally pleased. Black rice was tasty and fried pork was delicious not oily at all. Normally when you go to Haitian restaurants you get bad service but not here . Foods were authentic we finally found the best Haitian restaurant!!! We definitely go back frequently . Thank you.

1st time ordering at this place, it was the closest to my job. I ordered the black rice with turkey stew. BIG,BIG, disappointment. turkey tasted old, might be 3 weeks old. black rice is usually the best thing to order at a Haitian restaurant. This one had no taste; waste of my time and $. 1st and last time at this place.

We ordered catering for a Haitian party and this place did an excellent job! The pickup was slightly delayed but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Even grandma approved! Big shout out to Jessica especially for her customer service!

I love Haitian food and couldn’t wait to try this spot. I ordered over the phone, the small chicken and gravy with white rice and the brown sauce and fried plantain. I really wanted black rice but they had no more. When I arrived I parked in front of the restaurant. I walked in and the nice young lady took my payment and it was $10.66. She handed me my food and I left. When I got to the car I dug in. The chicken was decent, the rice was nice and buttery, the black sauce was bland and the plaintain needed salt. I ate until the meat was gone and threw the rest away. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t the best either.

I am living this review for Jessica, I am not sure what role she plays at the restaurant but she is amazing! She has the best customer service skills I have EVER experienced at ANY Haitian restaurants. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your needs are met and that you are happy with your order. Jessica, thank you so much for finally bringing service to the Haitian food industry.

I ordered the lalo with white rice. I was completely satisfied of my overall experience. Food tasted really good, great presentation, and customer service was second to none. I highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking for great creole taste in the area. Shoutout to Jessica! She’s awesome

First time i came I absolutely loved the mac and cheese. This time it tasted totally different. It tasted like kraft boxed macaroni cheese sauce. I was so disappointed. Hopefully they work on being consistent with the flavor of the food because repeat customers want it to taste the same every time. Not sure if I will be back.
