Wonderful food. We ate here twice. The first day the waitress was slow and forgetful, but the second day we had a different waitress and she was on the ball.

Great place to see Brian Maes play music on Thursday evenings. Staff is great but remember to make a reservation or the wait could be a bit long. Fortunately, there is great music to listen to while you wait if you don’t!

Food was definitely 5*, but the service was lacking severely this morning for breakfast. Service was 5* yesterday for service and food. I believe our server today was Taylor. She was great to start out. But then she disappeared. She finally came back to check on us. My friend needed more coffee as it had been empty and also needed more syrup. I works have liked more water. By the time she came back, I was done eating, so my friend didn’t want more coffee or syrup. She told us that she was signing up for insurance. I’m sorry…we’re customers. If you’re going to do that, have another server check on your tables. After that, she was very short with us and not courteous at all. She was good when she was there. I get is work related, but customers are first.

Just got back from a a three night stay at the Hotel. We had breakfast there every day because the food there is yummy. My husband loved the Hearty breakfast (although he did say he could have done without the potatoes) and I am hooked on their waffles or oatmeal. But the best part was Laura, our server. She is kind, funny and checks up on you as if you were a guest in her home. On our last day we walked by to take our suitcases to the car before coming back for breakfast. She came to the door to find our if we wanted to take coffee to go or something else for the road. Beyond sweet!

I visited here for the first time a week ago to have dinner. There were 9 of us. Three of us ordered the Bone-In Prime Rib Eye. The server came back 20 minutes later to advise us they only had 1 Rib Eye left. One of us changed our dinner to something else, so 2 of us could get what we ordered. When I got my dinner it was just a flat piece of beef more than over cooked not with the seasonings offered on the menu and certainly not the Rib Eye medium rare that I ordered by far. I tried wait for the server to come back, so I could ask what type of beef it was. In the meantime, I was hungry and didn’t see the serve for some time, so I tried it. When she finally came back, I said this is not the Rib Eye I ordered and it is cooked well, not medium rare. She looked at the plate and said “Oh yeah” and walked away. When we received the check, I again asked what it was and she replied a different type of Rib Eye which I do not believe it was and when asked about the price, I was told it’s the same price as the one I did not receive ($58.00). It was very disappointing and I did not want to embarass the rest of the group, so I bothered not to go any futher questioning as I knew I would probaby not get far. I think they were more concered about the big wedding going on than they were the restaurant. I gave it one star, because if I didn’t pick at least one star, then I couldn’t post my review. Zero is not an option.

PROS: This restaurant is ran by the hotel don’t forget. They had good food and the staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a lot of room to sit many people and also obey CDC guidelines.

The service was wonderful and considerate, and all the staff we met were kind. Some even chatted with us for awhile. 100% would go here again. Great food as well, with a short wait. The pancakes are light and fluffy, while the bacon is crispy, and everything else was amazingly cooked.
