While eating my fries, I found a hair underneath them. It was pretty unsettling, especially considering the employee was not wearing a hairnet. This is something that should be basic hygiene practice. After seeing the hair follicle, I completely lost my appetite. I strongly urge the staff to wear proper hairnets and take hygiene seriously. It’s a simple thing that goes a long way in making customers feel safe and respected.

My absolute favorite Nashville Style Hot Chicken in Houston! Both locations have the friendliest customer service and the best food. Their hot chicken is perfectly seasoned and crispy and their Nash Up sauce is just incredible! I love their STHU Fries! So excited that at the new North Houston location they also offer the best smoothies along with all the classics and some new exciting items like their Nash Smash beef burger and Jumbo Shrimp. 110% recommend!

Halal. Muslim owned. Quick. Tasty. Juicy chicken. Great waffle fries. The sauce selection is great.
Loved by everyone and everyone recommended it. I can see why

They had me at hot chicken. I was excited to try this new spot. I was mildly disappointed with the hot chicken. The flavor was just okay and the breading didn’t really have a crunch or stick. The wings were a lot better, crispy, and flavorful but on the small side. All in all, in a pinch, I’d eat here again.

This is by far the best Nashville hot chicken in Houston. I can vouch for the Nash Up Chick Burger, Mashup Texas Toast, Star fries, Dirty Bird Tenders and Hot wings. Heat level of Hot has a decent kick but totally manageable.
Hope you liked this and follow me for more honest and unbiased reviews.

The food is delicious! I stopped by out of curiosity and I was not disappointed at all. The fact you can pick your level of spice for a chicken sandwich puts every food chain selling spicy chicken sandwiches to shame. The food has FLAVOUR and their signature sauce is very tasty.

Such a good food truck joint. Got the Nash up chicken burger (pictured here) and the STHU fries and they were so worth it. Unless you have trouble hanging with spice, I would recommend going atlesst hot spice. The one thing that prevents me from giving this a five is service as our order wasn’t prepared as we wanted. In terms of food quality however, it was great.

I found this place through some friends and they have some great food. The service has always been great as well. Im not Desi but they have some great choices on food and i’ ve tried several meals over several months. I have tried many of the trucks there, but Nash-up is my go-to. The owner has always been very nice and they take good care of you. Its really awsome when you can be in a diffrent type of community and have a great time and always welcomed and even just having great conversations with them. I definitely recommend going and trying their food and experience the environment.

For a food truck, this place is quite pricy with most menu items being above $10. I disliked the use of words on the menu, and even saw a customer complain that curse words should not be used on the menu. The kids meal were the only meal items that were below $10. I wasn’t that hungry so I ordered the kids meal chicken tenders.
The amount of food to cost ratio was actually quite reasonable but the taste of the chicken tenders seem more inclined to being inoffensive instead of flavorful, with the taste quite literally reminding me of the frozen chicken tenders from Restaurant Depot off of Bissonnet.
My biggest complaint is the amount of sauce given, only one tiny, less than half full container of sauce was given. When I saw it, I immediately asked for extra sauce and the balding South Asian gentleman, who I assume is the owner, confronts me and states that it is enough sauce. Sure enough, halfway through the food, I approached the food truck to ask for extra sauce since I ran out, the African American woman seemed understanding but had to ask the South Asian man, who again approaches the counter to inform me that it will cost extra for more sauce. I asked if there is any ketchup packets instead, to which I am told they don’t use ketchup. I then asked for mayo, so the man tells me he can give me ranch, I agreed since I was not in the mood to eat dry chicken tenders.
I genuinely felt a bit sick for a few hours after eating here, nothing that serious but worth noting, not sure if its due to the chicken or the gooey ranch, everything seemed properly cooked but simply didn’t resonate well with me.
In comparison to the Halal Krispy Krunchy Chicken in the Chevron pretty much next to this place to various Halal Lousiana Fried chicken restaurants, this place was a letdown and I do not intend to return here. I simply dislike such stingy business practices, especially considering that the food cost is quite steep, and there are other Halal fried chicken places that wont be this adamant on policing for extra sauce.

I went here for the first time so everything was new to me. I don’t know his name but the man who took my order was very nice and patient. Didn’t take long for them to make it only about 10-15 minutes. I got the chicken wrap and it was a good amount of food for the price
